But I don't think that this thread is an example of people harassing her to spill information...Personally I've always considered this thread a place where people just collect their thoughts and confusions and exercise their gaydars.

Anyway, I've always thought of Krystal being the gayest thing of the girls but now idk...I'm not a believer of this "fake dating for pr" thing, I guess I'm too innocent to think of motives and why would they accept such thing. Sure ... that was totally not a lie because Amber lives in a very liberal country where being gay is totally fine and also dating a guy makes you 100% straight.

You sound pretty upset, but this is entirely a speculation thread and people will inevitably have different views. 

 

South Korea is conservative and homosexuality is obviously not accepted by the majority, but it doesn't mean anyone is forcing her to say "I am very interested in men". She also doesn't have to force herself to blush and act slightly flustered when teased about some male idols (which you conveniently ignored when replying), and nor does she have to lie if she isn't interested. When Luna teased her about Kris, her reaction was definitely an indicator to her at least being bisexual. It wasn't a dramatic reaction, but out of character enough for a fan of hers to take note of it. And dating a guy doesn't make you 100% straight, obviously, but that's only another factor that fuels my belief that she is straight. Don't get so upset because someone thinks Amber is straight (which I know is a vastly unpopular opinion). I'm not forcing you to agree.

I am not "upset" and my comment was not exactly directed to people that think otherwise but to people that are pretty sure she is straight because nobody can be sure what she is except herself. 
Also, she kind of is forced to say how much she likes men and how straight she is(regarding of course the assumption that she is a lesbian) because she needs to prove her heterosexuality. Deflecting gay rumors will only make her career last longer and that's what she needs atm. 
I am not saying she is totally a lesbian, but if Taeyeon, Hani, Yuri, Momo or idk who else have a 60% chance of being gay, Amber probably has 80% or something.
 

Well, since you quoted me directly, I assumed your comment was directed at me specifically. Which doesn't make sense since I never said I was pretty sure she was straight, just that it is the feeling I get. 

 

But also, Amber isn't the type to feel like she has to deflect rumors. She's been very positive when handling dating rumors of her with other girls- so while your point is valid that she lives in an extremely conservative country and needs to prove her heterosexuality for a longer lasting career, she has never forced herself to deflect rumors before. Remember the time she addressed her dating rumor with other girls?

Basically, she had the chance to completely deny and deflect those rumors that time, but instead of doing so, she was positive and said she liked the idea of fans thinking she is dating her female friends (Minah, Krystal) because it means she takes good care of them. If Amber were the type to deflect rumors by forcing herself to say "I'm interested in men" and that she wants to be a wife/mom/etc, it just seems odd to me that she would respond to her dating rumors with females in such a positive and open way. I feel like she would've flat out rejected them if she really felt the need to deflect rumors about her homosexuality.

 

I guess it's just because for me Amber isn't the type to fake or force herself. She may live in SK but she grew up in America, and her personality is unique- she'd be the type to try and spread positivity to the LGBT community rather than reject it to maintain her career.   

 

Also she's just so friendly and platonic with literally everyone she meets, that for me all the "moments" she has with other female seem platonic. But then again so do all her "moments" with males. I almost feel that she might be asexual because all I get is platonic vibes from every interaction she has, male or female.

I think it depends on the way people comprehend her responses. 

Actually, all of my posts are stressing the fact that this is ALL based on my personal perspective and speculation. I was doing everything EXCEPT stating "I'm pretty sure she's straight" because it's ridiculous for anyone in this thread to state they are "pretty sure" about an idol's sexuality when sexuality is something entirely private to the idols and all we have is speculation that we can never claim as being sure.

 

 

You're saying that maybe she never deflected those rumors because it would make her fake, but earlier you said the reason Amber stated she was interested in men, was because she was trying to deflect rumors about her being lesbian. That doesn't make any sense. 

 

If she chose not to reject the rumors about her dating females because it would make her fake, it makes no sense for her to state she is interested in men. That would make her fake, which she isn't.

 

One of the reasons I feel that Amber might be straight is because she is not a fake, so when she said she was interested in men, I believed her. Thus I thought it is possible that she might be bi-sexual since I don't think she would force herself to lie. So I felt that it was possible for Amber to be bi-sexual. The only reason I thought it would be possible she be straight rather than bi-sexual would be because she was a bit vocal about wanting a husband and to get married and do the housewife thing. Eitherway I hope she is happy and finds love. 

 

 

And I think you are right- all of this is speculation, which means it is 100% based on how we as individuals interpret Amber and any idol's responses and body language.

Hani and Junsu aren't exactly a new couple though, they've been dating since June 2015... I believe that's what they both said.  My speculation with them is that they're real.  But I also feel like Junsu and Hani could both be pansexual as well.  Maybe bisexual, or just people who wouldn't give a crud about the person's gender and don't necessarily want to label it.

I'm so tired of this.

I never said I was sure. I've never been sure about any idol's sexuality. Nor have I claimed she is "definitely" straight.

I've seen those videos and stand by my original belief that to me she seems to either straight or bi-sexual to me.

I don't see why people seem to be attempting to persuade or push to others their own perspective. It's one thing to ask me why I think Amber is straight or bi, and a whole other to constantly keep trying to show me "proof" or reasons she is lesbian. I'm not forcing anyone to accept or like my own perspective that she is not lesbian but bi if not straight, and there is no reason people need to try so much to change my mind about it.
