I find this to be very true. Even though her image is considered racy in Korea, her private life so far has been quiet and the complete opposite of what people think.

Denying rumors just causes netizens to think that there is some truth to it and like someone said yesterday. Taking legal actions means that it's actually not true and the company wants to make sure it won't happen again. The rumors were spread to cause them harm and that's damage to one's reputation and police can actually do something about that.
