1. [+290, -19] Maybe because he got so much hate when he went public with Hyeri...

2. [+212, -32] Pretty sure Hyeri got more hate than him at the time. People were accusing her of using him for his fame.

3. [+169, -57] Hyeri really should be grateful to Tony Ahn though... went from a nugu to getting her name out there thanks to him and then got cast in 'Reply 1997'

4. [+17, -7] Probably because he got burned with Hyeri..

5. [+6, -5] I wonder how much he regrets breaking up with her right now ã…‹

6. [+5, -0] Public relationships really are pointless... you get hate, the person you love gets hate...

7. [+5, -2] Usually the people who are against public relationships are the ones who've either been in it already or were caught by Dispatch ã…Žã…Ž

8. [+4, -2] Don't worry, Dispatch will do it for you

tony did help her get her name out there but most of Hyeri's success is due to her own hard work. esp after her aegyo thing on "real men". lets not act like he really did that much for her lol.

He barely did. Expect came out around the same time and people were too busy jamming to that.

there is so much wrong in that comment, skipped the part about GsD's successful cbs and hyeri's aegyo going viral. Also she wasn't casted in reply 1997 but reply 1988 lmao

My thing is, I feel like only the strongest, most secure idols will go public with their relationship. The ones that can handle it hate and all will not be bothered by it. There's people who keep their relationship private just because they like to keep their relationship private, it's more enjoyable or whatever. Then there's people who keep their relationship private because they want to protect their image and keep their fans and fame. I honestly feel like idols in a stable, strong relationship can handle going public, if your relationship is strong, you're supporting each other, you have each other then no amount of hate can really break that. They can go public or private and it wouldn't matter because their relationship is a strong one, they'll be together at the end of the day.

Wtf, Hyeri worked hard herself to get her name out there. She helped participate in GsD's comeback and let's not forget about that clip of her aegyo going viral. I know there's no way that that commenter forgot about the aegyo thing.  :donthinkso:

Or its not public's business but theirs. The most simple of reasons.
