Disclaimer:

-I know there's some people on the collage that aren't officially a visual,

It's more the generally sense of things and not trying to be technically with it. 

Plus, I barely know anything about 1st generation and it's hard to find info on which member is the visual so I just used what I know+ which member has a available new good quality picture because there are 1st gen idols that retired and I can't find any new good pictorial of them (i can't use old 90's photos, kinda unfair for 1st gen idols) + I just judge & guess from the pics

 

-I know I left some people out

 

-I put Suzy on 3rd generation because.. she debuted when? 2010? That's like the last years of 2nd generation and she really exploded in 3rd generation. It's also her peak now, she's currently the most popular 'IT' girl and it's currently 3rd generation. So her time is 3rd gen. 

This applies to Infinite L too. These 2 idols are talked about the most in sites like pann in this generation and not when they debuted at the last years of 2nd generation.

-Base on debut? Yes, L and Suzy would be 2nd generation but they're not really appropriate choice to be one of the representative of 2nd generation visual when they were only active at the very end of the generation & they're only really got most of the attention in 3rd generation, not 2nd. 

 

-I put Tiffany on the 2nd gen rather than Taeyeon or Jessica because Tiffany, i guess you can say she was almost an it girl for a very brief moment and it was purely because of her visuals. She was up there with Yoona at the very beginning. Taeyeon only became a visual the last few years imo and she's more popular as an overall package from talent to personality to her looks, etc. Jessica is officially a visual but I just feel like Tiffany fits more since jessica has more a chic look. 

 

- I left out ppl like Kim Hyun Joong & Yoochun even though they are officially visuals but it might influenced ppl views of 2nd generation lol.

 

- I choose a lot of photos of the guys with their hair up, their bangs up because not all but a lot of 1st gen good quality newest photos had that look, that mature look since 1st gen idols are 35+yrs old now and 3rd gen idols have a lot of pictures with bangs down so I choose more pics with their hair up, I didn't want them to look so young. i tried to make it fair as much as I could.

From what I notice the nonvisual 1st gen members look best when they were young, at their peak. The visual members look better now.

TLDR: she debuted too late to represent 2nd generation visuals and she really rose to fame in 3rd generation. This is currently her peak, 3rd generation.

 

She debuted in 2nd but I wouldn't say she wouldn't be appropriate to represent 2nd idol visual when she came out too late to be one.

I just needed to fill out the collage and I thought she'll be the appropriate choice. She's fits the standard (graceful, clean, sweet image), she's one of the most popular snsd member and Isn't she part of snsd visual line though?

In the beginning it was Yoona, Jessica & Tiffany. Lee Sooman said it or I think he says those 3 are his favorite but Tiffany & Yoona was definitely part of the visual line back then.
