But, I will still watch Reply though. They're good, I have never felt dissapointed after watching Reply series. Husband hunt is just another enjoyment, what I like the most is their family theme, funny and heart-warming.

i really hope shin pd stop to do another reply series to see how tvN unaprecciate R97 effort for tvn with give the best drama to R88.. how people forget how R97 work hard to make this drama in top.. I guess they specifically mentioned that it's for 88 because of its impact compared to the other two installments (highest ratings for all Reply series + the most talked about series when it was airing + basically all the people of the different age range in KR knows about it). Yes, I agree that 97 should have won an award as well since they gave that push for tvN but the best drama daesang is a win for all the Reply installments regardless if it's 97, 94, or 88 that's why everyone went up the stage because it's a win for everyone and they were all happy about the daesang. We should be happy as well especially for the pd, writers, actors, etc. for how far the series have come and the impact that they now have to the general public. I'm really happy about the tvN awards show tonight since basically everyone who really deserved the award won it. Other tv stations should take note tbh (especially the Korean Drama Awards show lol).

Shin PD basically went up and straight up said in his acceptance speech for the daesang that the R94 and R88 would not have happened if not for R97. I think most people recognize this, k-netz as well.

 

It's pretty obvious that this awards ceremony focused more on more recent dramas but the PD knows what's up so just leave it at that.

 

I definitely think Seo In Guk + Eunji at least deserved a more prepared and full length stage (and in-ear monitors at least, gosh they couldn't have just prepared that for them so they can hear themselves?). I'm sure Eunji is happy for Shin PD and the cast, you can see how close she is to him and Sung Dong Il from all of the photos of them hugging and being adorable together.

But anyway, the awards ceremony is finished and I'm quite happy with the awards given out (albeit they should have given something to Misaeng and I Need Romance series too). R97--actually all the Reply installments were given awards too during the ceremony. I completely acknowledged the impact that R97 has made for tvN, including some of the earlier dramas aired, but I completely disagree that the daesang should be solely given to R97. They should have at least given it to the Reply series as a whole. But anyway, Shin PD recognized R97's contribution/importance to the series during his speech so all is well with everyone. The whole Reply gang was happy with the daesang dude so there's no point in constantly arguing how everything is unfair for R97 installment just because they didn't specifically win the daesang. At the end of the day, it was still a win for the whole Reply series.

 

Also regarding the Eunji and Inguk duet, they pretty much had the same screentime with the Reply 94 couple. If this is about the whole R88 vs R97 OST performance during the awards ceremony = tvN being all biased to R88 bc Lee Moon Sae sang longer--you should research on Lee Moon Sae. He's a well-respected/legendary singer in KR so it would be disrespectful for them to cut down his performance. I don't even think the whole R97 cast was humiliated just because of that? Also, wasn't his performance kind of like Psy's performance?? It was like the half time show of the awards ceremony so I don't see the point of reducing his screen time.

i dont said they need to cut lee moon sae song but be fair you know how much years we eungok couple fan to wait their duet 4 years..even when article appeared about Eunji unnie and seo in guk oppa reunited after 4 years they trending in korean site..they should give chance to both of them to sing full song just see how much people scream when they sing the ost together.you know how all for you pushed the popular song from psy gangnam style is billboard chart..both of them just two young singer and rookies actor an actress in that time..tvn should appreciate what the both of them made until reply1997 be a big success..the awards show more to reply88 and gag perfomance..they sing w/o proper rehearsel..lucky they are pro singer..
