Oliver 22,442 Posted October 6, 2016 Share Posted October 6, 2016 So essentially in the Marvel Comic Universe.. they started bringing in the Inhumans more and more.. and now the main story is leading up to a war between the Xmen and the Inhumans because the terrigen mist needed to give inhumans their powers is killing the mutants.. so when the Inhumans went along and spread the mist all over the world the Xmen will try to stop them with everything they've got.. So pretty much this is Marvel's way of Using the Xmen to sell comics while creating more characters for the Inhumans to have a bigger presence in the Marvel universe.. Aside from the Inhuman royal family they've got a couple of characters who are kinda catching on.. Like Quake from Agents of Shield, Ms Marvel and Dante.. Personally I love what Marvel Is doing with the Inhumans.. I think its genius to wage this war especially with all the controversy around the Movie rights of the Xmen.. I love the Xmen .. X men are essentially what got me into comics and super heroes.. but they've hit a wall creatively tbh.. their characters will always be legendary... no matter what... but Its time to give the Inhumans some spotlight! :') Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

X-men is too popular to be replaced just like that anyway especially since it seems like Inhumans are the antagonists to them. The premise sounds interesting tho. I personally love the X-men franchise. I grew up watching the original trilogy and really enjoyed the prequel trilogy. Of course I liked some more than the others. They have also done an awesome job with the cast. And I enjoy MCU movies too but I don't really see X-men movies there. I feel like the tone of X-men movies are very different to them. The problem I have with both MCU and FOX is the fact that most of the time the studio gets too involved and doesn't give a lot of creative freedom to the team behind the movies. Having Wolverine in the Avengers would have been amazing! Storm in Black Panther?? Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy those MCU movies but I want X-men movies to be different than that. Inhumanity ties into Civil War 2.. and it was really interesting to see the story from the point of view of the Inhumans ..
