Hainan Chicken 262
I had classes in an hour but a car completely blocked my garage (I share with another neighbor but they only have 1 car and it wasn't in at the time) and I could not back up and get out. I live in an apartment complex so naturally I tried knocking on my other neighbors' doors to see if it was theirs. But no one answered and no one bothered to come out after honking my horn. The complex is right next to the parking alleyway so people should have heard it. At this point it I was already late for class and panicked that I'll miss class completely because for whatever reason they decided to park in front and block my access. I called the complex manager and told them the situation, so they gave me a tow truck number. I called and waited for the tow truck but also trying again to see if it was one of my neighbors ( No one bothered to answer). Tow truck came, whisked away the car, and I got on with my life. The alleyway mind you was completely barren sans that car in front the shared garage and it was early enough in the afternoon that there was still plenty of street parking. And alleyway had no parking signs and fire lanes through out as well. Should I feel bad about calling the tow truck when all I was going to miss was a class and no plans for the rest of the day? I honestly don't know what to feel because I am not a confrontational person. And calling a tow truck is a pretty bitch move to make on someone unknown. theidolcyborg 383
You did the right thing by calling the tow truck because that somebody was being an jerk
ETB5 4,512
Personally, I would have taken an uber and later asked my neighbor not to do it again.
Jacky852 175
personally, I would have skipped class. school is overrated anyways. I think you should have taken a cab or something if it was just for one class, then fight your neighbor. XD but if you felt that it was necessary then everything is fine. MineMuses 6,687
tbh you shouldn't feel bad. If was thier fault. If they parked in front of someone else's car and they called the toll truck, would you feel bad? Personally, unless that person was having an emergency and was in a rush to park their car. I don't see any reason to feel bad.
rissa 449
people shouldnt be parking infront of garages so you did the right thing by getting them towed
waffles8000 541
nah, not at all.... you did your best and no one responded, so it was the right thing to do if you had called an uber or a taxi, it wouldve been wasting your own money for someone else's mistake, so what u did was right
Grape Soda 12,004
I don't think so. If it wasn't your neighbors car that unknown person is on your property. Damn right you should have had it towed.

CareBear08 7,527
I called the complex manager and told them the situation, so they gave me a tow truck number. When you are thinking about this situation you need to remember what you just wrote. The complex manager is the one who told you what to do AFTER you explained everything. So if someone in charge of the property told you to do that then you're validated in what you did. If the owner of the car has a problem with it them tell him/her to take it up with the complex manager.
