MomoMoon115 5,816 Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine have announced that Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga would be going on hiatus for the next two issues. One Piece's creator Eiichiro Oda is currently being hospitalised for aperitonsillar abscess, a recognized complication of tonsillitis. The manga is expected to return on June 10. One Piece will still be listed on the survey postcard in the next issue, because the postcard was printed before Oda's hospitalisation. Next week's issue will list "tonsilitis" as the name of Oda's illness, but the magazine's editors say that"peritonsillar abscess" is a more accurate term.
