Q3 means July to September.. and just like that we have 3 months left to 2017... So yea.. here are what the Big 3 had to offer in the second quarter of 2016!

 

SM Station still consistent with weekly releases.. also giving my baby min a song :') I loved loved Russian Roulette... I think its my favorite RV song ever... Seohyun's shampoo song was kinda cute too lol.. Lotto became a guilty pleasure of mine and yea thats pretty much it .. it was nice to see F(x) OT4 again too

YG made alot of promises once again.. they said Black Pink were going to release 8 songs this year... and that Big Bang, Winner and Ikon will release albums, and Akmu, Lee Hi, Psy, Epik High, Hyukoh, Zion T AND Sechs Kies were releasing music.. Lets see how it'll play out.. anyways.. we got 2 EPs this Q3 Black Pink's debut was highly anticipated and much needed tbh.. So far all the members are likeable and show potential.. I hope they get an album soon.. Mino Bobby unit also debuted and I really liked Hit Me! it kinda reminds me of I like to move it move it lmao

No bias but I'd put it JYP > SM > YG

 

All the JYP women released bops for me. Like Jimin's Album and Fei's Fantasy are the truest bops of this year for me. And when it comes to SM, besides Red Velvet and Luna and some SM station songs, I didn't really care for the rest. Lee Hi and BlackPink are the only things that came out of YG for me.

- JYP's releases were all good.  

 

- 2PM are back to variety shows, they had a great response for their cb what was sth that 2PM needed. 

 

- Jimin had a good cb. 

 

- Fei's Korean debut song was really great.

 

- GOT7's album is really good. One of the best album they've released so far. 

 

 

I can't say much about SM releases, but I've seen good response for the songs they've released.

So I suppose you can say SM won but honestly, I have never disliked material from the Big 3 so much as I have this year. Found most of my jams among smaller companies and nugus.
