Maybe my phone’s quality was poor when I watched the L.O.R.D’s trailer on it? It completely exceeded my expectations! Kris Wu was the entire film’s biggest surprise. He was too handsome! My coworkers kept on repeating, “Kris Wu was so handsome, Kris Wu was so handsome. How can us girls even compare?†His deep voice as he spoke his dialogue sounded so good! Must watch it for the second time! 2. Kris Wu was so handsome that it put us into despair. This film was good, I would never have thought it was one of Guo Jingming’s films. But the main point was Kris Wu was too handsome. 3. Kris Wu made new expectations with his handsome looks. But what I wanted to know was what was the director’s role? I couldn’t find him anywhere! 4. What I wanted to say after watching it was, Kris Wu was as beautiful as the sky. 5. After watching L.O.R.D, what left me the deepest impression was during the scene where Kris Wu turned around, and a male audience sitting beside me breathed out, “So beautiful.†6. Forget about Tiny Times and look at Director Guo in a new light! It was so obvious that the ending would be like this. What left me the deepest impression was at the end when Kris Wu turned around, the two male audience sitting at the front row said, “Shit, so fucking handsome, fuck.†7. L.O.R.D was such a great movie and Kris Wu was so handsome that I had a crush on him. (I’m serious, he was so handsome) Thankful for my father for accompanying me and wish me best of luck for tomorrow’s art exhibition. 8. Watched L.O.R.D yesterday and thought it was a great movie. Already fallen deeply in love with Yin Chen, already followed. 9. It was crazy busy before the national holiday so on the first day of break, I went to watch L.O.R.D. Kris Wu was extremely handsome, he was so motherfucking handsome. 10. I will have my younger brother also become Yin Chen’s disciple. 11. After watching L.O.R.D, I think Kris Wu is very attractive. “This is our gift, unlimited horcruxes.†(t/n: one of Yin Chen’s lines) So handsome… 12. I watched it for my wife, Fan Bingbing. Two hours is not enough! Kris Wu was so handsome that I wanted to take my pants off! Yang Mi’s CG was so beautiful! I wanted to watch the second one already! 13. I am Yin Chen’s disciple. 14. I went to watch it alone this morning and became Kris Wu’s fanboy. The movie was similar to the book. The animation was not perfect, but there were some parts that were surprising. I can’t wait to watch the next one. 15. It was the least anticipated and most expensive movie I had watched. But it was really good and the effects were great. At first I was confused with the storyline, but I understood it afterwards. Kris Wu was beautiful like a piece of artwork. His opening dialogue was also appealing, immediately converting to be his fan. Translation credit to yifanqini This is not the first time his appeal to a demographic that actors his age don't really appeal to was noticed. Global times even wrote an article on it! Note: When the guys above mention disciple, they are talking about the bromance that is in the movie between Kris' character (Yin Chen) and Cheney Chen's character (Qi Ling). Kris is the lord and Cheney is the disciple. The relationship is kind of homoerotic in some bits and the disciple is wildly attracted to his lord. The Douban rating was 3.5 even BEFORE the movie came out and was watched by everyone so that should tell you that Douban ratings are unreliable. I see on douban that the reviews for this movie are pretty bad.they are because they were rated before the movie even screened in theatres lmaO i had actually gone on douban to check out the reviews on the premiere date as my friends and i were planning on watching the movie on its release date. we saw hundreds of, let's just say, Bad reviews even though the movie hadn't screened yet???? it was confusing af (hey, surprise! the movie however was better than our expectations!) you might know about guo jing ming's reputation as a director from the horrible tiny times series, it certainly seems to have impacted him here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
