I highly doubt it, but at the same time I'm very excited about. FIrst about the boy group, I think the only real candidate is Bang Yedam, I feel like he is already choosen to be a leader of this future group, but other than him, we don't really know any other members. There are a lot of rumours about new YG trainees but none of them are confirmed. And about One, I have seen that a lot of people think that he is a part of this group, but I highly doubt it. He is way older than Yedam and considering that this group won't debut soon, he would be too old to debut with them. But I wish YG would do something with him quickly. Now about the girl group, lbr we barely got BlackPink after waiting for them for about 100 years. The possible members are Jinny and Sua, others like Hanna and Katie Kim I don't actually believe they will end up in this group. The only reason being is that Katie is '93 liner and Sua and Jinny are '98 and '99. I would like this group to be a bigger group, with like 7 members just to be a little bit different than BP. And also there were those rumours about BP being just a sub-unit of a much bigger group that will debut soon, but I doubt that's the case. What are your thoughts about this??? What are your thoughts about this??? not sure about the next boy group (already have 2 new gen BG) but for girl group soon, team b (the one sitting on the bench in BP dance teaser) is going to debut either in 2017 or 2018. But I don't think the debut is close. YG already has 2 new boy groups, with very different styles too. As you said Hanna and Katie Kim have an age gap with the other girls. But this wouldn't be that much of a problem I guess, because 2ne1 has a big age gap too. It's been said that Katie Kim and Jang Hanna are not going to be in a group. I wonder if this is still true. Plus majority of them already trained for nearly a decade. So I'd say 2017 will be their year. Not sure about the next boy group tho, maybe 2019-2020. I didn't know that they debuted before. me neither, but then I remembered they had that song ''Don't cross your legs'', so I think they only promoted song the songs they did on Kpop star but either way I get your point, I'm just wondering for how much longer can YG debut new act every year. yournoona 8,412 Posted September 28, 2016 Share Posted September 28, 2016 new girl group should be next year. the 3 members of future 2ne1 have been training for 6 years already. jinny will be 19 next year (20 in korean age) they arent getting any younger. the new boy group should be in 2018-2019. yedam is the youngest, so he's not the leader. so far, team C consists of 4 boys that have always been spotted together (yedam, raesung, jinkyu and beanie boy). raesung and jinkyu are actual YG trainees. (raesung is very close to iKON, so he's easily recognized by fans, also if im not mistaken taehyun thanked him in 2014 s/s too and jinkyu was confirmed by def dance as a YG trainee).
