recently through a break up.. but within a month..a guy started talking to me in night school, he said wants to show me the campus during this winter. he messages me everyday and he plans on visiting me at my workplace. he tries to tell me a lot of jokes and stuff.. he told me to invite him on a date whenever I feel like it.

only problem is that i'm not over my ex (who was abusive from my other post, though I still have feelings for him). i'm not as attracted to the new guy as I was with my ex, but this guy seems really like innocent and his intentions don't seem to be selfish like my ex

what should I do?

just proceed as friends and if you feel like you can get to like him romantically, ask him out. move as slow as you want, he seems sweet and understanding.

If you're not ready to move on then you shouldn't dive into a new relationship. This guy might be really nice and sweet but you did just break up with someone who made you feel horrible, it's best to take some time to build yourself back up.

Honestly I can say a bunch of things but what really matters is what you want to do, that's all that matters.

don't really know him but i think would be better to know him better, n probably best for you to wait till you can move on. 'cause it's hard having someone new if you're not really move on from your ex (like everyone said in on of my thread). it'll hurt both yours n that person's heart.
