I never been in a relationship so I'm not really sure. I get kind of annoyed when someone continuously messages me on FB, especially when I'm busy doing homework. I find it weird when someone says something like "i love you ♥♥" or get affectionate when you barely talk to them. Or if someone asks to hang out at certain places, but I barely know them. 

 

What do you do when they're clingy?

why would i be friends with someone like that? im not in the position to make you realize you're not dependent on me

idk people who are clingy are just traps for abusive people or relationships and im not here for counseling you

definitely not here for drama

toxic people include clingy, possessive and over emotional people.

I had a boyfriend once who used to get really sad and go 'you don't care about me ))):' if I accidentally forgot to respond to a text or if I was out with a friend and had my phone off. Let's just say he wasn't my boyfriend for very long.

People you barely talk to say "I love you"  :wth:

 

I never experienced that. Although I have experienced people I was friends with and wanted to break off the relationship while they didn't get the hint.

Haha. It's those 'I love you's' but they don't exactly mean it. I think. o.o But it's still weird. ._. I really don't have anything to say when they say that. Well, it was just happened once and recently. ._.

Omg. I don't like it when people do those '.....' & '???' ._. I think I did that a bit to someone before without meaning to clingy. ._. Having other people do that made me realize I was probably annoying this one person. Lol.

People that think that interaction between the two of you has to be constant.

 

I've had girls get upset because I haven't texted them in two days so they think we don't talk anymore. I told her that my space is needed and there is no reason to talk everyday. Nothing happens that is so important that you need to talk to me about daily. I always tell girls, if you want to talk to me everyday, you better have something to important to talk about.

 

Another thing is when they believe that you have to text them first. Not just girls, guys too. This one girl brenda said that I should text first because I'm a guy. I told her that I don't want to talk to you everyday, nor do I have urge to talk to you everyday so why i would text you first? "Because I want to talk to you"........bitch are your fingers stupid? If you want to talk to me then just hit me up, put that bullshit mentality in the garbage because you obviously don't know what a relationship is. 

 

Not responding to text messages fast enough like I am going to drop everything I'm doing and respond to your "heyy". I usually take at least 10 minutes to respond to a text message unless I'm not doing shit. Usually because I just genuinely hate text messaging for various reasons. 

 

I've had clingy guy friends that always want to hang even though we're not that cool. always wanna do something, even treat me to dinner. shits weird yo

Hmm.. I don't know either since I've never dated before but I don't really like it when I'm too close with a guy, I'll slowly back off. Or guys who keep on contacting you asking what are you doing and stuff, I mean once in a while is okay but not like every 10 mins or something, unless it's my* crush :hurr:

I realized it when someone who was out for months then came back in my life gets me cranky and irritated by doing things i have no problem sharing,and doing for/with the people i am close to.

Someone who checks on you via calls or texts 24/7, or glues themselves to your side whenever they can, and feels paranoid about any moment of separation. Someone who wants you as the focal point of their life, and who wants you to feel the same way, and becomes offended should you try to live your life in any way that doesn't concern them.

 

In my life I have had 3 clingy friends. And because I'm generally a nice person, dropping them wasn't easy.
