The most I've spent on makeup was $100 in one go once. If the powder is <$40 I would purchase.

It has a minor layer of colour so if you don't have fair skin there's a possibility of being a minor white cast and it's a gift for oily skin because it absorbs it but if you have dry/flaky skin it will just make it more intense. It's like all makeup - you need to have the proper preparation for it to work properly but this product was released in 2012 and I still haven't ordered one personally that does even half as great of a job.
