Never cared about top grades as long as they were good enough tbh, learning the content was what allowed me to go though school painlessly because cramming like crazy and obsessing over notes was never for me

Back in college my professor/mentor encouraged me to take a particular upper level calculus class even though it wasn't a requirement for my major just because it's a good thing to know and I should challenge myself blah blah blah. Well I did and it wasn't easy and I ended up getting a C while normally I got all As. But I felt like I learned a lot and my professor was proud of me. I've never been a grade grubber and I'm glad I took the class.

Well just a few terms ago, i skipped the first 2 weeks including an essay that was like 10% of the class, but really got myself together and learned, asked questions, studied so hard etc.

I dont think i ever worked that hard in my life tbh, and my professor was really proud of me and offered to be my reference. I ended up with a B- for the class tho lol. But if you can learn & get an A, then more power to you. So many ppl forget everything as soon as class is over, and im like... what yall gonna do when you get a job hmmm lol

Tl;dr learn material, get a C (& acknowledgement)
