I just want your opinion on if there are any idols who don't seem to fit their groups concept. Their group concept's is either to innocent or edgy for them. My picks are: Lovelyz's Mijoo and Baby Soul To be honest I have always felt these two girls deserve a mature concept. I didn't like seeing Baby Soul wear a school girl uniform when she's 24 years old. Gugudan's Nayoung, Hana, Haebin, Sejeong All them suit a flirty, girl crush concept. It was weird seeing members that are in their mid 20s act have such a childish concept. I wish they had a concept similar to Mamamoo because they really have some great vocals. It's hard to find an age appropriate concept as some of the members of the group are minors. Apink's Bomi and Hayoung I think we can all agree that we are dying to see Apink with a mature, hip hop concept because of these two ladies. I want to see this side of Hayoung again! Fiestar's Yezi I just don't think Yezi has an idol vibe. She looks more comfortable and happier when she is just a rapper. Being an idol and having cute concepts look painful at times. While I loved Apple Pie, I couldn't help to notice how out of Yezi looked at times. 4minute's Jihyun She just never looked like she suited the badass, fierce, girl crush concept. There have been multiple eras (Crazy, Hot Issue, Mirror Mirror, Volume Up) that she has looked so out of place with the concept. I often thought she might have suited a cutier, girly concept. List the idols you think don't suit their group's concept and what concept you think would have been better for them!!!!! Edit: WJSN's Exy, Mei Qi, and Seola All them look more suited for a mature concept. Mei Qi and Exy especially look like they are suited for a sexier concept. Momomo did not suit them at all. They look better with a mature, sexier concept. Mr. Potter still is still to cute for them especially Eunice. They looked kinda awkward trying to pull off the fierce concept at times. AOA's Mina. She doesn't like acting sexy you can just tell lmao. NCT 127's Taeil. Looks kinda awkward at times on stage. While I like Lovelyz, I loved Baby Soul's solo songs and kind of wish that they had kept her as a solo artist. I'm hoping for a subunit that let's them explore a different sound and concept. I love Jihyun but I think she just looked awkward in general. However, her parts were usually my favorite in 4M's songs. I think she looked really nice in VU. I can see everyone really embracing it except Luda tbh And Mijoo was the first one that came to mind. I actually like Lovelyz' sound but Mijoo definitely stands out even visually when performing. Just in regards to their (international) ages, Hana and Mimi are 23, Haebin is only 21, Nayoung turns 21 in Nov and Sejeong is 20. Sally and Soyee are only a few months younger than Sejeong. So the only 2 that could even be considered to be in their mid 20's are Mimi and Hana, but they still look very young. That leaves Mina who turns 17 in Dec and Hyeyeon who is 16. That being said, Sejeong, Nayoung and Haebin probably fits a more mature concept, but Gugudan certainly won't be doing an innocent concept forever, a lot of groups have transitioned to more mature concepts over time.
