I really do not get it, they were the only two remaining original members AND they STILL stayed under the label after their three year hiatus yet when they finally get back on the map they just up and leave? Makes no sense...

OMG, she did? Damn excuse me I need to get some popcorn for this show. I wonder why? I bet a lot of fans were questioning her as to why she is on a hiatus and with ex-member Yoojin. Also, isn't Yoojin supposed to be overseas?

That's what i don't get.  Even after a successful crowd funding from makestar they still leave...That's what really hurt my soul after seeing that.

 

Same here. It just seems really weird, and I know that Brave is not really the one to blame here cause they seem really lenient with their idols unlike other companies. I wonder what happened? I guess we might never know.

I was hoping that Yujeong could shine a little through the dissing battle, but the girls had very little screentime for this section. (Still super salty about this), but anyways. The good thing is that the remaining contestants will have more screentime now.

Also, I am really upset about Eunji too. She is so talented and barely was able to show her talent. I do feel that she should have done Crazy rather than Rough, she would have owned Crazy along with the other girls and pretty sure that would have helped her in the rankings. I hate seeing my girls crying.

So I have been working hard all day on the OP for this thread (you can expect it up by tomorrow evening, and I hope you all like it because it took me eight hours today trying to make it look perfect lol) and I was going through some of the previous members of BG's IG and OMFG what the hell did Seoah do to her eyes? She looks scary! She makes Ayumi Hamasaki's eyes look normal in comparison! I literally thought she was using some sort of weird filter but all of her IG posts are like that. That is freaking scary, why in the hell did she do that?

 

Meanwhile, Eunyoung's lip surgery seems to have gone wrong as well, it looks really botched in certain photos. Sorry I don't mean to sound rude or anything but it was really concerning to me.

They were supposed to have a comeback in Autumn/Winter of this year but two of its members are on The Unit so they had to postpone it. Brave already said that everything was finished too. But I do wish we could have at least gotten a digital single before the wait.

I'm sad about Eunji, she didn't shine in GFriend cover when she got the highlight and that lead her to the exit .

She definitely desserves better rank. she got the 45th rank after loosing 8 places! She would still have made it if no lower rank girls were in the winning team and got exempted from elimination. 3 girls got the pass (but no boys) so the cut was for 43th and lower instead of 46th !

Yeah I was really sad for her too, she had so much potential to do exceptionally well on the show but that GFriend song did no justice to her at all.

Was it me or did it just seem like that floor was kind of slippery, I noticed them sliding or gliding toward their next positions quite often too. I do feel like these stools need better grips, they don't look that sturdy. I hope she is ok, she still soldiered on. I think it was so sweet that Minyoung took the time to look over to her and (assuming) asked her if she is okay. I swear she needs to be the leader, she has all the qualities to be one.

It's unbelievable how everyone was expecting this accident to happen, but Brave Bros did nothing to prevent it.

 

A lot of people were concerned and wondering when it will happen. From the very beginning, I saw the stools and they do not look stable enough, I cannot even honestly see any rubber traction on it to prevent this from happening. Every stage they went on I was in fear that it would happen, and thankfully the most we got was when Hayun's shoe flew off. But now this. Regardless, I am glad that she is okay. I know people give "Performing for the army" a bad name but I really love hearing such loud chants for my girls, they deserve it since the rest of Korea wants to sleep on them.

Honestly it should, people have been praising Yuna for getting back immediately as if nothing happened. This needs to be share as a proof of Brave Girls' professionalism and endurance.

The comments (for the most part on that article) are positive. Save for one person who said that they should stop using these stools after their promotional cycle ended. As much as I love the dance, I think the stools really hope make it better. Had they not used stools, I would suggest re-choreographing the chorus in that case (I am too bothered to respond on a site like that though lol but just wanted to share that). I am glad that people are appreciating her professionalism.

Ouch poor Yuna, a relief it wasn't worse. I'm sure we were all anxious about when this might happen to one of the members.

I don't think re-choreographing is necessary. There is something very simple they could have done to prevent that, and it would have been to use feet pads for the chairs/stools + test the floor to see if it's slippery or not. But to be fair, I'm not surprised it happened, prevention is better than cure but people never learn. Though, sincerely, I am glad Yuna is fine, that's a relief

 

I have stated in a previous comment that the problem is A) The floor as you could see was already way too smooth for both their heels and their stools (you can see a lot of the girls sliding or gliding across) B) The problem with the chairs is that their seems to be no rubber traction to prevent it from falling under you, so if you so much as put too much pressure on the wrong side of the stool, you'll slip, which is exactly what happened (apart from that floor not being the greatest to perform on).

 

I have done Rollin' on stage with a stool that had rubber tractions on the bottom of the legs, this helped me from sliding across some surfaces, so it's not like it's impossible, it's just idiotic for their managers not to be more cautious of their safety (and also the stools are not really that sturdy looking too)

Okay Yujeong is slaying this performance! Everyone in the comments are loving her! But she got 5th place? She should have been 1st or 2nd with melody day's Chahee. But Joo was really good as well! I love this performance.

Guys, right now, Yujeong has a pretty good amount of views on naver. In comparison with other popular contestants.

I wonder what is Brave Ent. doing to promote Yujeong in The Unit. She is Brave Girls last representation and she NEEDS to survive this round. She is in the 32 spot  and in real danger of getting eliminated. With Brave Ent getting some cash from Samuel I thought that they mgiht have poured out some promoting the girl. Or maybe they are using the money to produce the album that I read they already have prepared for them?

 

Brave can only do so much in terms of doing any promotion for their idols on The Unit. It is really up to KBS giving them more screentime and exposure as well as the idol themselves on the show to give them more attention. I think this might have been why Jude from Bigstar and Eunji was eliminated in the first round, as talented as they both really are, they are the quiet type and almost never speak unless spoken to or do not have as much a bubbly personality as say Yujeong does, which is why she was able to stay a bit longer.

 

I am pretty sure all idols and staff under Brave are asked or required to vote for the idols on The Unit. On top of the idols own family members and loved ones, so they are more than likely getting the votes. It is just that when you think about it, a lot of people are voting the same people in the first spot (which means they get two points) while there might be people who are voting for her, but more or less in the second to eight spots (which is only one point). Regardless, I am voting for her this week on Tmon for the number one spot so at least she could get two points from me. The least I could do.

Allkpop proving one more time that they suck at ... pretty much a lot of things !

 

Why would they publish an article entitled « Kpop one hit wonders » and list Brave Girls as 6/9 with Deepened. Apparently, all their releases after that went under the radar ... I’m like « okaaaaay, NO. »
