And yes i can definitely see Sooyoung getting married and start her own family pretty soon. Hopefully she won't quit snsd at the same time

Yeah its a very sad thought indeed. But I remeber during their appearance on radio start last year they were asked a question around the lines of "would you let a married member still be part of SNSD?" and the all the girls (minus Sooyoung who had left for something) said yes they'd be allowed to stay/return after marriage. So If the girls are accepting and so long as the married member wants to carry on, then I guess we have nothing to be worried about.

 

Come to think of it, I might as well re-watch the entire show again right now . Maybe there might be clues in there about other members

 

Edit: hehe less than 5 mins in and Soo asks if she's pretty, hosts reply yes and people look prettier when in love. Then they out right say she looks like she's been taken good care of which leaves Soo tongue tied .

 

And Yoo Sen Yoon is already ripping into Win Bin calling him (cute) ahjusshi, a normal human and joking about how he would sit in a resteraunt lol. Guys got balls of steel

First Monday of the new year and everyone feels the same way

 

 

Oh and DAMN that instrumental sounds sweet. Hopefully they keep (if it even is an actual SNSD song) and add some awesome vocals in there. With maybe a couple tweaks (we all know SM is a fan of adding random noises in there for lolz) I smell another huge hit!

 

However, there is one little thing niggling me about, nothing major at all but:

 

I'm guessing the "clap clap clap" is the lead in to or is the chorus but it seems to me (so it could just be me being paranoid) like in The Boys where the chorus slows down the rest of the faster paced song, which I felt hindered it somewhat. Hopefully I'm proved wrong and its a kilelr chorus.

SNSD’s ‘Coming of Age’, How will they change?
Summary: They are no longer young girls. After 7 years, the national girl group is set for a major change. In the beginning of the year, Yoona and Lee Seunggi’s relationship and Sooyoung and Jung Kyungho’s relationship were confirmed. The fact that SM confirmed both of these while they’ve denied all previous relationships shows that SNSD is now at a ‘turning point’.
 
Last year, each member’s solo activities increased. Yoona started ‘Prime Minister & I’, Yuri did ‘No Breathing’, Seohyun did ‘Passionate Love’. In terms of variety, Hyoyeon did ‘Dancing 9’, Tiffany did ‘Fashion King’, Sunny did ‘Grandpas over Flowers’, and Sooyoung did ‘Hanbam’. Taeyeon sang the OSTs for ‘That Winter The Wind Blows’ and ‘Mister Go’. Jessica did ‘Legally Blonde’. You can interpret this as each member expressing what their future careers were going to be.
 
There are also rumors saying that the members of SNSD no longer live at the dorms together. The members also started revealing more about their personal problems and the fans started anticipating a change, especially since all their rival girl groups have started to break up.
 
SNSD is to come back in 2014 with a new album. The album’s title has already been decided, and the music video shooting has been completed. Their new song is going to be a barometer that tells us what the future of SNSD holds. What will end up happening to SNSD and SM?

Bouncing off of what Sooyoung (user) mentioned about the girls getting involved in their albums:

 

Since the girls mentioned during IGAB that they were having a greater input, I have this wish that one day they'd release a (preferably full) album where all the songs had some kind of input by the girls themselves. Maybe write a few lyrics here, play a few instruments there, choreograph that or even compose a entire songs from start to finish. Could be 1 song per girl or, as suggested, a sub-unit deals with their (set of) songs or even all the girls create each and every song (now THAT would test the soshibond to its limit ).

 

Imagine it, SM basically supplies the girls with whatever they need, be it buying a certain song, advice on how to do things and all the high tech faculties they need to roll out some smashes and the girls themselves are the ones in moderate or complete control to do what they want how they want.

 

The great thing about SNSD is that they have 9 members meaning that each member has their own ideas and methods for doing stuff leading to many many possibilities (and fights ). But just as importantly, they can cover for another's weakness, so if member x doesn’t have much interest/ability in doing a particular thing like writing lyrics, another member or 2 could fill in and she could move over into something she's good at. Win win for everyone! Even SM, they wouldnt need to pay outside producers/writers/agencies as much since most work could be done in-house.

Yeah and they've already had a few steps towards much greater input with SooYulSeo doing lyrics before and supposedly Fany having a big hand in their visuals this time round. SM has been oddly nice recently, letting members of other groups like Suju and Shinee have more active roles behind the scenes, so who knows, we may be getting (slowly) closer to my wish of an album where the credits read "produced by: SNSD"

Not so Quick thing about the fanacc:

 

1. Its a fan account, could be true or may not. And if true there's no 100% definitive answer that it happened the way poster described it; maybe it wasn't an "ew" face, maybe it was, maybe something just happened prior, maybe they weren't allowed to interact - who knows? Its one POV.

 

2. Seems like its a one off, not like they behave like all the time. Very unfortunate for the writer but one bad incident out of potentially hundreds shouldn’t really determine what the girls (or anyone for that matter) are generally like, especially for those that have met or yet to meet them.

 

3. Even the nicest and the happiest out of us have off moments. I'm generally a very happy/positive person IRL but even I've been known to (extremely rarely) utterly lose it . I'm sure its not in their nature to behave like that on purpose.

I dunno if this is worth anything, but since reddit.com/r/kpop and reddit.com/r/snsd are fairly big and popular websites in kpop terms, and I find them quick and efficient ways of collecting pics and finding out new/old SNSD/Kpop news, I thought I might as well add this.

 

Recently r/kpop had their 2013 awards across a variety of categories, all completely fan voted which obviously doesn’t hold any prestige but it does provides a good overview of who/what a broad range of kpop fans liked from last year. Due to the HUGE list of nominees and the voting method (up vote your faves to win which also means down vote who you don't like lol), votes may be deceptively low. I didn’t get to watch the awards (well, more accurately, I couldn’t be bothered to get up ) but I was majorly bummed out that SNSD as 9 didn’t attend. I didn’t mind if they didn’t win lots of awards, I just wanted to see them all together for once, its been tooo long

 

There's still Gaon and SMA but even then, I dunno if we'll get all 9 on stage. Looks like the comeback is the only time SNSD will be complete...........unless this lack of SNSD is some kind of subtlly suggestive, mind manipulation by the SM higher ups to build anticipation for their comeback..............nah. SM aren't be that cerebral lol........
