On another note I was wondering if I could get some opinions. I'm torn between getting GG's The Best Live At Tokyo Dome or Girls & Peace In Seoul. Both have performances that the other does not (The Best has Karma Butterfly, Galaxy Supernova, etc but G&P has Express 999, I'm A Diamond, etc.)  but I really can not justify buying both so.... thoughts? It's such a difficult choice and I'm honestly not sure how to decide.

get the Tokyo Dome concert, i also like E999 and IAD and it is a OT9 concert but some of the performances the girls were halfassing and that let me down a bit.

The Dome concert was much better even thought with only 8 members, but it was more energetic and my faves performances are ITNW, Show Girls, Chain Reaction, Divine, AMLIFY, Karma Butterfly, Animal and The Great Escape

 

thank you for the input! would you say the production of the concert (as in the stage set ups, the way things flowed, etc.) overall was better too? because that's probably another important factor for me that I forgot to mention. I mean, I watched fan cams and the like from both but that doesn't give you the full impression.

i'm a little late to the party but I do want to say that I am happy for Yuri. She seems to be very happy in the photos and that's what matters in the end.

You've probably already decided but I would choose Tokyo Dome for the Show Girls performance alone. Best they've been in years. 

 

Easy choice for me but I hate I'm a Diamond lol. The G&P concert is still good though. You can always get one and then buy the other later

Hey guys! I just got my copy of GG The Best. I know it's been out for a bit already but if you want me to post up some pictures or something please let me know. I just put the BluRay on! The quality is amazing and everything looks gorgeous so far.

Not sure how else to put this without bringing forth the attached stigma and stereotypes, but I'm a "newish" Sone. No need for me to go into details about how I adore the group and have watched  many variety shows, talk shows, music videos, live performances, and interviews to boot (translations granting) in the span of a few months. Just wanted to officially get my foot in this thread. I'm looking forward to staying a while. Take good care of me  . 

 

Now that formalities are out of the way. I was wondering if I could get some questions answered? 

1.) About Sunny's cat...what breed is this adorable cutie  ?

2.) I think I read a post about CMIYC being performed live on the 26th of this month for promotion in Japan? If not, any inclination when a live performance will be in order?

 

Whether or not you mention it, I feel the same way. Sure, I understand that this is the way things are now, and quite honestly I want both parties to be happy and continue on their journey. But deep down, my heart is still feeling the sadness and likely will remain this way with pangs here and there  . It's not easy to look the other way when it's 13+ years we're talking about.

I was considering buying it since it's one of the few GG albums I don't have.

 

Sorry! I should have written out the full name. I got Live At Tokyo Dome not the album. Though I do want to get the album as well. Does anyone who has it have any opinions?

 

A side note, I'm missing a fair amount of GG albums and concert dvds/blurays simply because I didn't have a lot of money back when I first became a Sone (some time between Hoot and Mr. Taxi). Some are pretty difficult to get nowadays but I'm slowly getting more and more.

i'm a bit late to the party but woah! i think that's the lightest taeyeon's hair has ever been. i'm not sure about seohyun's color and the blonde/light bits could just be hair pieces so.... hmmm.

 

i'm curious to see how/if the girls all change their hair. the waiting is going to kill me.

Girls’ Generation Announces Comeback Single and Album Details

Girls’ Generation has finally announced details for its upcoming comeback. The group will first release a new single, “PARTYâ€, on July 7th at 10 PM through digital music sites. The single will include two songs, “PARTY†and “Checkâ€, as well as instrumental version of the “PARTY†track. “PARTY†is a dance song well-suited for summer. The music video was filmed in Koh Samui in Thailand and will have a concept of “Summer SoShiâ€.

 

Following the “PARTY†single, a full album will be released with two title tracks, “Lion Heart†and “You Thinkâ€. The release date for this album has not yet been revealed.

Girls’ Generation’s website has been updated with the first teaser photo for “PARTYâ€. The picture is a group photo with all the members of Girls’ Generation on the beach of Koh Samui.

hmmm. it seems like the "oh baby baby" part in 'you think' is a source of mystery.. i initially thought it was sunny and after listening to it a couple more times i'm gonna stick with that. it really sounds like sunny to me.
