EDIT: That IGAB NappyTabs choreo would always be a fierce one. But I also really love Rino's works. She totally brings the girls out with all those feminine moves. "Paparazzi" would always have a special place in my heart <3

 

oh yeah i love the general feel and image of shoujo jidai. and paparazzi's dance is one i like a lot.

i'm hoping for something kind of like run devil run, bad girl, animal, etc. that sort of feel. something... heavier? stronger? more aggressive? and suited to a powerful dance. i don't know if i'm explaining this well.

We should seriously try to at least not ourselves worked up with all our assumptions. We can't help assuming things, all right, but let us at least try to not dwell too much on it to the point where we start believing our assumptions to be the real thing.

 

We all want for SNSD to have a song that would be hit with the general public, but it's impossible to gauge what the general public wants; even the longest running company in the industry is not privy to what the general public likes. Just because another group gets what you think is a better choreo and a better song in your opinion does not automatically mean that they are the new favorites and the company is saving all the good things for them. They try different things, how these different things will be received by the general public? Only the general public knows, and they will make their judgment once the song starts hitting the airwaves. If I can pinpoint SM's flaw in this promotion cycle, it is how they handle the promotions themselves.

 

great points. i agree with all of this. love for something can sometimes cloud your judgement so it is always important to take a step back and think about things a bit more.

 

and, yeah, i think SM definitely dropped the ball with the way they handled the promotions this time around.

I felt like I heard a voice like seohyun near the end of that recording. but it's really hard to hear.

 

it being an f(x) song is possible too since jessica and krystal do have similar voices. i don't know about it being a jung sis song because there was a voice (voices?) that didn't sound like either of them to me.

Good news that Taeyeon will be appearing for 'Hidden Singer'.  Wouldn't it be awesome if Taeyeon can also make guest appearances on the upcoming Kdrama "Trot Lovers"?  I love it when she sings trots - Sunny and Taeyeon should release a trot album together.

 

I love when Sunny and Taeyeon sing trot. I remember when I first heard Sunny sing a trot sound I thought 'Wow. She has really good voice for this type of song.'.

This makes me sick. She goes to class, has to get up in front of the room and be objectified, then the professor says he'll "allow" pictures and autographs when class is over? HE'LL allow it? Oh how nice of him. What if Yoona didn't want that? Then he ends class early, I mean is Yoona even learning anything at this school? The way they act every time she attends, I'm surprised she even goes in person anymore. It's sad that those people are so selfish that they can't have some self-control and respect the fact that when she's attending school she's off the clock. If you want an autograph, buy the CD and attend a fansign. I understand that she's a celebrity, but that doesn't give these people a right to treat her this way when she's just trying to learn like a normal person. I have a huge problem with the fact that no one seems to be able to see this. Of course she's going to sit and sign, she's a nice person and she won't say no even if she doesn't want to do it. The professor should have told everyone to sit down and shut up. That school needs to get better security measures so kids aren't piling up in the doorways, and they really need to have some kind of system to prevent thing like this from happening. The saddest thing is, if those kids would just treat Yoona like a normal person, maybe they could even be friends with her. Instead, all they want are things from her and don't care about her at all as a person. I feel so bad for her having to put up with that mess all the time. It's appalling that people behave that way with no regard for the way she might feel.

 

thank you! the moment i saw the pictures and then the videos I became extremely uncomfortable. I made a post about it on my personal blog that'll copy and paste here..with bad language edited out..hehe.

 

 

seeing those photos of yoona in class absolutely swarmed by people and signing a ton of autographs and also videos taken of her while she is in class just cause me to have such a strong reaction of "wow leave her alone and let her LEARN you absolute garbage!!!!"

she misses so much school because she is an idol and then when she can go she is hounded non stop. and like, i get that she is a celebrity and this sort of stuff comes with it but come on give her a break she is trying to learn.

 

 

 

you said it much better than i did but yeah. all of this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. especially after learning about the professor cutting the class short and stuff. ugh.

Despite the rather lousy dress ( curses to the stylists ) , actress Kwon is still gorgeous on the red carpet and exuding grace and loveliness while going on stage to receive the award.

I was like 'what's happening here?' in regards to yuri's dress. it's a nice dress and yuri has such a great body but they didn't fit the top correctly at all. she still managed to look dang gorgeous even with the flaws the dress had though.

seohyun is consistently in my top 3 now after being the member I was probably least interested in in the beginning. while yoona pops in and out. haha.

 

 

longest to stan: sunny/seohyun

 

sunny was very popular in the group of people i knew and i didn't really get it? but eventually i started watching them in shows and grew to love her a lot. it was a bit slower with seohyun. i took a bit of interest in her while watching hello baby but it dissipated. it came back when twinkle came out and i started paying more attention to her in the shows they were on and even watched the entirety of her WGM episodes. now she's one of my top favorites.

I ran out of up votes but dang so many of you are saying so many great things way better than I could have said it.

 

Not agreeing =/= not understanding.

 

The issue isn't THAT complicated. It's pretty obvious by now that the fans who are offended feel like they were misled due to 1. Taeyeon was always emphasizing the fact that her IG was "for her fans" 2. pretending as if certain pictures were for her fans when, in fact, they aren't. Combined with the fact that K-SONEs put so much time and effort into making sure the girls are doing well with a lot of support, the betrayal feelings arise.

 

However, it's a sense of entitlement of which I have not quite seen. Do you know how you pay back an artist for the fan service and love they show you? You buy their album. That's all. That's your only obligation as a fan. Buy their album. Buy their ticket. Everything else is your choice and above and beyond the expectation of a fan. She also has no obligations beyond performing for you and making you happy with her voice.

 

What I am alarmed about is the about face of these "fans". How quickly they slam her. How quickly they turn their backs on her. If you truly "love" her, wouldn't you be understanding? Wouldn't you put behind your initial frustration and support her? This isn't love. It's exactly the betrayal that they are slamming Taeyeon for. It makes me wonder if I want to be in this fandom anymore. Not because of Taeyeon or Baekhyun. Because of those fans. I am ashamed.

TVXQ's photobook just released and I was wondering when we'll ever get that rumoured photobook that the girls took last year in Las Vegas? 

 

I want to see more of their trip 

 

 

They went there around August of last year, right?

 

I was looking up when TVXQ has gone to Italy for their photobook and it was back in July 2013. If the Vegas thing turns out to be a photobook, maybe we'll get it soon?

 

 

Ever since I saw people talking about it and saw the girls share their own photos of their time there I've been patiently waiting for the release of a possible photobook. I hope it's something that pops up soon.

i'm hoping we get to see whatever they did in Vegas too!   They looked gorgeous from the pictures they posted and it has potential of being my favorite shoot of theirs

 

Yeah! Each time one of them posted a picture I was like    because they looked so lovely. If those were the outfits/style of the shoot, then it'll be a beautiful photobook if it ever comes to be.
