I really did like Mr Mr mini though, with the exception of Europa, they're all my jam  I don't think the music was the problem but the lacking promotion. If they had pre-released Goodbye, teased a bit with Wait a Minute (like how IGAB teaser had Romantic St.) had a better MV, maybe a more interesting choreo and more TV and radio appearances, maybe even a variety show like TTS, they would have had a much bigger impact IMO.

I haven't posted here but I just want to say I really like this release   The choreo is soo good and SHYY really shined     I think the MV could have something more though, like they could have emphasize the choreo but still have some individual shots and a bit of a story line, like paparazzi. The song is nice too, I actually like the chorus, I don't know why everybody is bashing it so hard  It really does feel like a japanese release though, even if the korean version is getting more attention from i-fans 

 

Hey snsd fans, I'm just commenting here because I'm really confused about something. I don't really like snsd so I don't follow their schedules and releases, but I'm really confused at the "catch me if you can" release and all the comments in the bashing thread about it..

 

wasn't it labelled as a japanese release? it's not a korean release right? it didn't have much of a teaser build up/promotion in korea like so many sm artists do, and will they even promote it on music shows? (sm might make them tho.)

 

also, Isn't it a single and not a mini album?

 

I'm asking all this because I'm seeing a lot of people go like "lel snsd flopped" and Like I said, I don't even like snsd but this is so ridiculous I can't..they're not even looking at the facts here.

 

1. there was no proper build up. I know a couple of articles popped up, but most of the knetz comments were like "this is a japanese release why you telling us about a japanese song?" - a lot of knetz may not even look at the song because they don't know there's a korean release to it. Even I'm confused as to what type of release it is (sm's marketing team what are you doing) so Imagine the korean public that don't follow kpop as actively as we do.

 

2. it's a single - this is so important because singles never do as well as songs that are in mini albums. GDYB's good boy didn't win as many music shows as apink - uv but like how can someone even compare a random drop of a single and a song that's been promoted for months? I don't even think a single should be counted as a proper comeback but more like the snack in between comebacks (or in gdyb's case, something to smooth over the thirsty fans with.)

 

plus, sm artists never do well in digital anyways, but just look at their physical. 

 

I wanted to comment about this on the bashing thread but since "defending" isn't allowed (I just think it's just showing some desperate haters where the light is.) and I don't know much about snsd I decided to just double check here instead lol.

Yes its just a the korean version of the japanese single. They are not promoting it in korea and its release was only announced a week before it happened (I think). I'm guessing they are releasing it for k-sones because it would be unfair for their first OT8 song to be ONLY japanese but as far as I know, its not meant to the korean market. They are having a korean comeback though, probably with a full album.

I was hoping for may   I have to say CMIYC has REALLY grown on me, I actually quite liked it at first listen but now I'm really jammin to it and the lyrics give it a great meaning. I think they should partially promote this, maybe not like a real comeback but SM shoud try to push it a bit, maybe the girls could do some performances, its a great song IMO

If Yoona is going to be blonde for this comeback I assume haven't film the MV yet. I guess we'll have to wait at least 2 or 3 weeks for EXO to finish their promo but the girls are going to keep hiding their hair that long?

why do i have a feeling that the leaker (whoever she/he is) has some hidden intentions? i dunno they leaked it just when snsd's gonna have their comeback. of all times, why now tbh? kinda weird imo. i wouldn't be surprised if snsd's cb would get pushed again..

I quite like OT9 version, its obvious it wasn't the final version though cause the editing sucks. Sunny was killing it there though   

 

Jessica sounds (and looks  ) so good and I miss her voice :( but I don't think OT8 version was lacking anything. Overall, I still prefer OT8 version but both are great for me. 

 

 

I was also thinking how nice Yoona looks with the extra weight she has now, she still looks great on the OT9 version but she was so flawless on the official release
