I think the problem with SM is they don't want her to be in a drama unless she is the lead. They need to put her as second lead or whatever in a drama with a plot that will do well in Korea.

Also, the viewer ratings doesn't really matter. It's much more important if the drama can sell out all the advertising spots.

 

What? If SM keeps casting her in dramas that don't have a plot the Korean public can connect with then eventually people won't seek after her anymore. She won't always be "SNSD's YoonA" that can charge an extremely high price. Long term benefits is better than short-term and not accepting a second backup role (that still gets a lot of screen time) that would have done much more for her than the main role in a low rated drama is not thinking long-term.

 

Hopefully the ratings will pick up since it's been getting positive feedback, but thinking ratings don't matter at all is a bit delusional. YoonA herself cares and the production staff cares.

(Although I did enjoy their second Japanese tour) This concert BLEW that tour out of the water. SNSD NEED solo stages to show off each member's individual charm. Like Sunny NEVER gets the chance to shine like she did while performing bloom. Seriously she worked the hell out of that song (and her boobs).

 

I hope their Japanese tour next year is like this and their first Japanese tour. The solo stages are what make the concert, plus it gives the other girls breaks so they have energy for the OT9 performances

Hyoyeon had a solo for their First Japanese Arena Tour and she rocked the stage, I HIGHLY doubt SM would just decide to ignore her and give everyone but her a solo for no damn reason. As already said, no one why she didn't have one so this automatic blaming of SM for it seems childish.

 

Girl had Dancing with the Stars, first solo photo shoots, Dancing 9, Top Shop endorsement, been going to countless events, etc. BUT all of that means nothing if she didn't get one solo performance at this years SM WEEK concert? Ok.

 

Anyways, as I said, if SM had something against Hyoyeon she wouldn't have gotten a solo in their Japanese tour. I can understand the disappointment, but to be blaming when you know nothing of the situation is stupid.

Hyoyeon just needs to need leave snsd I am sick of complaining and I am sick of fake ass fans that don't really want her in the group and are just giving really fans of her crap because they actually care and are hurt if she is mistreated. Being in snsd and SM is not doing her any good right now. I mean a snsd concert where they pretend she is not even in the group. She practice like every girl so why can't she so a extra hour or two. Also this not the firs time remember two Christmas ago. I demand a explanation without it it makes no sense. Maybe she is preparing to leave and that is why.

 

Right now it doesn't feel like she is a snsd member. So she might as well leave. You guys wouldn't care anyway. Being in SNSD is a blessing for ALL the members. 

3. Being in SNSD and under SM is what let her have everything she has had. Dancing 9, photoshoots, popularity in general, Dancing with the Stars, etc. So doing nothing for her? Girl bye

4. Lawd, she doesn't have ONE solo stage at ONE concert and suddenly they pretend she doesn't exist and act like she isn't even in the group? How about you do yourself a favor and watch the second Japanese tour footage.

Hyoyeon's had a great year. She got MC gigs, hosted that dancing show, went TopShopping, got that solo photoshoot, got published in an Italian magazine, brought the maknae as her date to the MAMAs to pick up more hardware & crashed a stretch limo Hummer into G-Dragon's Aventador. Tons more stuff than what she has gotten in previous years.

 

And y'all tell me that that's all invalidated by Her Hyoliness not having a solo in what was actually a poorly-planned concert in an ill-fitting venue, redeemed only by Sooyoung's mini dress, Sunny getting her freak on, and TaengSic being revived because that pervert kid leader can't resist a hottie in a bedazzled swimsuit.

 

 

How should the oh tee tea (heh) niners respond then? Should they not respond at all? Or is it that you just don't like the way they respond? You want them to sympathize, yes? Then I'm sure they can surely commiserate with, "Oh damn Hyo didn't get a solo, I'm bummed." Hyo is talented, beautiful, and amazing and she deserves everything that the other girls get, and I think there are plenty of oh tea nine folks in this here thread who understand that, and understand that it's unfair for Hyo not to have a solo stage, if Hyo wanted to perform one.

 

But people also won't take very kindly to being told that "Hyo is 2378468276482x better than your fave and gets nothing, while the rest of SNSD is untalented and boring and ugly and gets everything!" and, unfortunately, the latter is often all they see. And, as humans usually do when faced with constant negativity, they'll never get how amazing Hyoyeon is, they'll just get defensive and say stupid shit like, "Hyo was never popular so get over it!!11!!" "It's not SME's fault!!!11!" 

 

And censor... I do not think it means what you think it means. I don't see anybody censoring anybody. All posts are there for everyone to see and people can read them, and can react to them. I mean as far as I can see, if we were really censoring, then why do we still have trolls around here? Because people can see their shit and respond by feeding them.

I overall don't like the group censor that tends to happen in this thread (and outside) when people talk about SHY or stuff with Hyoyeon (misguided or not) or other little things that fans may not like. It is a bit frustrating to see actual, legitimate gripes and points CONSTANTLY responded to by 6-7 paragraph essays and rallying cries calling for OT9, togetherness, what not.

 

 

 

Aren't you basically constantly doing the same thing? There will be fans who are upset, but there are ALSO fans who aren't. If you want to have the right to complain, then people should also have the right to NOT want you to complain.
