Not feeling the new hairstyle atm but I guess it could look better in more pictures/video.

 

So on the left its either Taeyeon or Yoona (I'm thinking Taeyeon because she's had that hairstyle a few times), Tiffany in the middle and Hyo on the right.

 

While that's cool their get up looks interesting. Why would Taeyeon be wearing bright pink heels of6 she's just there for Tiffany? Why would Hyo have her hair being done up too? Could they both be in the MV/song

not even a month has passed about Oh!GG debut.. why is she doing this?

Dude wtf. Oh GG hasn promoted at all since debut and there's no soon and upcoming schedule for them either. So what do you expect Taeyeon to do, sit around and do nothing for a month? She as an individual is still busy and has her own career to see to; in the last week or so she went to like 2 countries for events. I don't see you mention Hyoyeon doing DJ events regularly at the same time as Oh GG.

 

And if you're implying something about Taeyeon putting herself above SNSD, think again. She put off her solo debut for years despite Sm's insistence because she wanted to stick with SNSD for a while longer, she regularly posts little messages about/to her members and she clearly absolute loves hanging out with them (the recent vlive was the most hyper and silly Taeyeon we've seen for a while).

Can anyone tell me what happened to the soshified forums? Why is it completely dead there now? I feel like this is the most active forum for SNSD

Soshified was huge and amazing between 2009 to around 2014. Had lots of shows fully subbed, comprehensive forums when SNSD was super active and ofc was the biggest and most influential kpop fan site in the world.

 

Eventually the admins had to focus on school and uni so subbing became rarer and with the rise of social media meant that out was faster to spread news and info including subs from 1 person (though obviously not as good quality as a dedicated subbing team). SNSD themselves also appeared much less on TV though that's down to less idol focused shows on these days and had longer gaps between CBs.

 

It's the same thing with kpop forums in general. Sites like akp, oh, soompi, omona etc used to all be much bigger with lots of traffic in the past. Now social media like Twitter, Instagram and YouTube has meant the need for them has decreased. I mean during the summer when everyone was free oh was pretty dead, the only time it was regularly active was during the world cup, a event nothing to do with kpop lol.

What the, when did it release? I gotten used to kpop releases at mid afternoon lol.

 

I think it's ok. The chorus is fun and really catchy but the verses are more like really slow talk singing without much instrumental which I'm not that into. If the whole song was like the chorus it would be a jam.

 

The MV and styling is really top notch, it's like a kpop MV which is awesome. I love bad bitch Tiffany, makes her even hotter she can torture me anytime . Wish soo and Hyo had more appearances.

I liked in to you. Just wish the final parts kicked it up a bit like some high notes or something. Other than that it's good. Feel like it's should've come during the summer but hey SM first need to learn to use a calendar.

 

The MV though... My god are there some problems with. Yuri looks amazing but the rest of it looks like it was a rush job. The sets are very basic and too similar, they blend together especially the white backgrounds. And that awful CGI, wtf is the point of that obnoxious solar glare during the water scenes, it even blocks Yuri at points.

 

Gonna do home and watch her showcase and listen to the rest of the album.

Finally listen to the full album and I have to say it's ANOTHER awesome solo album. SNSD might as well be 8 awesome solos who come together like Voltron to become a super group lol. My faves are illusion, cest la vie, into you and ending credit.

 

You know, it's cool how the members are always defying expectation. Most, including me, thought Yuri might have a faster more dance music orientated album but here she is with a much more chill, almost ballad focused album that you'd epect someone like Taeyeon to do instead and she pulls it off. Not a main vocal and she's pulling off this stuff, that's SNSD.

 

Also long hair Sooyoung is clearly best Sooyoung

You gonna talk about K-pop in the USA is due to bgs while speaking to a member of freaking SNSD who helped shape kpop into what it is and we making waves in America long before?! A group you already mentioned a few times prior. Get some half decent researchers.

Poor sunny but it's nice how the girls are so calm and peaceful and always taking they miss each others company.

 

to me, it's really close to do that.

I mean, they started to follow soo,seo, fany on IG and now this screencap...It MUST mean something!

I think so too. Oh GG themselves have also mentioned in the show how they wish "all" the group could've come. Then the latest episode with pictures of the rest. I dunno the logistics is possible (TSS would need to book time of from their schedules) but there's a very strong willingness to make it happen in principle. I wonder where they would go, would be cool be if they went somewhere like new Zealand and did all the thrill seeker stuff.

I still absolutely hate the format of the show. Why instead of a normal show we got these clips as episodes which lose their context and continuity I'll never know. But what content there was has been great: the girls having fun together, doing new activities and the gorgeous scenery. Everything was so chill. Antibes looks like an amazing place to visit for holiday.

 

If there is a S2 I hope the rest join in and it's made as a proper series. Would be amazing.
