Sometimes people take Kpop way too seriously. 

 

The performance was good, despite of the crappy sound system. As much as I like them in suits, yesterday's outfit was the best so far. 

 

I hope for the best for our girls, but I have to say that if the digital isn't doing well, there's nothing we can do about it. 

 

I think there are lessons in everything, and this definitely applies to the girls as well. I understand that they're sad that they didn't win. I do wish that they could have controlled their emotions better. But, I prefer to see our girls being true to their emotions rather than faking them. 

 

 

I did make the mistake of going to 2NE1 thread just to observe how they're celebrating. I can definitely relate to their joy when seeing their bias win. I really do. It's inspiring. 

 

But, I hate to see them pointing out Sunny's demeanor and posting articles that put down the girls. Oh well.

 

I guess happiness has its ups and downs.

BTW I'm not sure if anyone remembers but I turned down the job offer that I received for that public school in South Korea. I just really didn't like the location [it was close to the border] and the recruiter was seriously rushing me to sign the contract [he didn't give me 24-48 hours to look over it and even got mad when I read through it all the way. Plus there was just a whole lot wrong going on. But I have another interview with a new recruiter today so wish me luck.

For me, I don't care about Yuri's body. I think she's beautiful however she is, but that dress was not flattering at all. It might flatter someone else, but not on Yuri. This is something that people often misunderstood. Certain kind of dresses looks terrible on certain kind of bodies. It looks like a sack on her, instead of flaunting her curvy hips.

At first when I heard the news, I was in denial and disappointed, but I let it ruminate in my mind. In the end, I thought that if she's happy, I'm happy. It feels more like when your child is dating/marrying someone else. When I found out about the whole IG thing, my first reaction was, "so?" I just don't get the anger and betrayal. I actually thought it's cute. It shows that she can also falls in love, and do cute things a couple might do. I hope this turmoil will end because I can't wait to see more Soshi. I hope Taeyeon still keeps updating her IG.

I think I was disappointed because the person is Baekhyun. I found him a little bit, um, annoying at times lol That's pretty much it, but I'm so over it now. I think it's good for Taeyeon to have someone she can talk to and be herself.

Another thing to also realize is how humid Malaysia is. I have a feeling that the girls don't like to sweat too much because you know, social expectation. So they didn't really exert a lot of energy.

 

Tbh, I want them to show their best performances every time. I was watching a video of them dancing to Chain Reaction at Tokyo Dome when my friend told me how the girls were not on point at all. I was embarrassed, and disappointed because I knew that they have done better performances before. I don't really know what this means. I think they're too tired of dancing, because let's get real, only Seo and Hyo gave a fuck. I hate it when I see them perform as if they don't want to be there. IGAB is a prime example of that. That being said, they did better in other songs. Only IGAB looked like a mess.

It is a bit overwhelming, true. I couldn't keep up either.

 

I'd have to agree overall. I think the priorities of the fandom have shifted a bit. At the same time, I am a spoiled SONE and remember the days that SONEs used to dominate everything. The irrevalent polls on Billboard and Popdust. Melon/Mcountdown voting. And the big international awards. We pretty much never lost. It's a bit...different to see the fandom losing but it's a change that happens.

 

At the same time, literally everything is happening at once right now so it is a bit much to keep track of all of it. Priorities make sense and the girls need support on music shows and the awards show they seem to be pushing (TCA) so let's focus attention there.

 

 

Oh man, the good old days of Popdust. I wonder if the fans have aged with the girls, and we don't see all these polls as important as they were used to be? Every time I see polls now, I just roll my eyes. I mean, I still vote for them lol but we've won a couple of Billboard polls, and nothing ever happens. Like everyone has said here, it's the music shows that count, and I'd love to see them win for at least 2 weeks haha
