Yeh.

But do you realise that My Oh My didn't get this 16 million at once?

I mean, a MV can be liked only once by any register user but watched many times by this same user. Then anyone who watch the MV "like" the MV the first time they watched it and then still watch it numerous times more but they can't like it anymore.

Then the  increase of the number of view still goes on but the number of like doesn't move that much.

 ofcourse i do!

listen im not discrediting the likes! im just saying, that with the high amount of likes the video has so far, i would expect more views! thats my only point

i don't really think youtube is being slow since its updating views like every 20 minutes or so, but I guess since the way of counting views changed that's why we have less views. the only thing I hope is that we have enough views to get them to the front page that will for sure help them get more views

how has the counting view changed?

also how many views do we need to get them to the front page? and yeah hopefully

Stop feeding the trolls. And I am the only one who is having trouble when you like a post?

For example if I want to like a post ,it doesn't do it or down-votes the post and the same happens

when I want to dislike a post, it doesn't do it or up-votes the post.

its been like that for me for a while!

only works sometimes

Seriously though, what's wrong with the mr mr youtube views?? WHAT. An snsd mv having only 3 million views after the 2nd day, is that even normal?? :wth:

innit though!

i think youtube is just being slow with counting the views

It is a possibility, it has happened before with One Direction and Miley MV where the views were credited very very slowly when in fact the statistics page gave a clear view later on of the amount they got in the first days.

thats good! so when will we find out about the statistics page?

more maybe but I don't think 10-20. The boys had sth like 3.5 and IGAB 5 million in one day. Mr Mr could do a bit better but not so much.

And they definitively corrected the tag. Now when written Girls Generation, the video show up

But if you still have difficulties

So which songs do you think they're gonna performed later?

6 songs?

I'd go with Galaxy Supernova - My Oh My - Love and Girls - Genie - Mr Taxi - I Got A Boy

I'd love better Flower Power instead of L&G but unfortunatelly, I don't think it's gonna happened  -_-

cheers!

also can anyone upload later of girls generation performing! CHEEEEEEEEEEEERS

and i hope galaxy supernova, genie, flower power, genie, mr taxi, i got a boy!

im not that into love and girls and my oh my tbh

You said Genie twice.

And I said what you think they're gonna perform not what you would like

oh lol my bad! well i hope they would perform those! but they will probs perform the new releases my oh my and galaxy supernova

It is believed that she and on/off boyfriend John Mayer have called it quits despite being hit with engagement rumours just days earlier.

But Katy Perry is certainly not moping around following her rumoured break-up.

The singer is currently in Japan, where she dressed cheerfully for a press conference on Sunday.

Fast fashion: Katy Perry wore a McDonald's inspired outfit to a press conference in Japan on Sunday

Katy wore a McDonald’s inspired outfit which was in fact by Moschino, though in the fast food company’s easily identifiable red and yellow hues.

The outfit consisted of a red knit dress with the McDonald’s golden arches on it, although in a heart shape often favoured by the design house, and also the words 'One billion served' printed across it.

Katy had a perfectly matching bag and also sported red suede heels and sheer black tights.

Sexy star: The 29-year-old showcased her legs in the short frock, sheer tights and suede red heels

The 29-year-old wore a cute striped bow as a headband in her jet black bob and completed her look with a gold charm bracelet and red lipstick.

Katy posed with a group of young women at the conference for U-Express Live 2014, which was held at Saitama Super Arena, not too far from Tokyo.

The women in question, who wore identical white dresses, were in fact Girls’ Generation, a South Korean girl group.

Katy’s trip to Japan comes following reports by Page Six that she ended her two year relationship with the singer, 36, after discovering 'text messages on John's phone from some random girl.'

Weekly Charts:

Melon: 2 (SNSD wouldn't get no.1 weekly any more)

Mnet: 2

Bugs: -

Ollehmusic: 1

Genie: 1

Soribada: -( can't find Mr Mr )

Naver: 2

The no.1 is none other than our strongest rival on the digital charts....

Soyu -_-

Anyway it's interesting to see how both 2ne1 and SNSD be unable to get melon weekly no.1.. .

Tbh I was expecting 2ne1 to top SNSD on the weekly charts because they are much more explosive(judging from previous releases), so to see SNSD in front is quite surprising for me.

im surprised as well since bare people were hyping how 2ne1 is gonna do really well on the digital charts in comparision to snsd!

well done, im proud

Didn't snsd have more days to chart tho?

yeah but people were acting like snsd were gonna flop and drop way below down the charts after 2ne1 had a comeback

All im going to say is that, i know people arent really that much into snsd's new mini album and title track as their previous ones!

but i love it, i wouldnt really call myself a sone (though this comeback has made me act like a sone more or less) even though snsd got me into kpop with their song 'gee gee' but the mr mr title track got me into the whole snsd hype again, made me want to listen to their entire mini album for it! which i havent done since i got over the whole idol group faze and started stanning lee hyori!

it's the same for my friends aswell especially for one of them who really wasnt into snsd (maybe lets say she might of been a hater at times lol) at all and didnt get the hype for them! but after this mini album and the title track, she's been hyping snsd up so much and talking about how great they are etc,,! which is a turn of events lol trust me! (she even listened to their whole album)

im just gonna say, i know 'some' sones dont really like it or appreciate it as much! or even haters etc,,! but this comeback has lets just say made people other then sones get into snsd and appreciate their music! their mini album is fab and so is the title track

sorry if im ranting, thought you guys might want to know or dont know! but i thought you guys might like the opinion!

Ok so snsd had more days to chart... Well those people are crazy to think were gonna flop for this week. Either way 2ne1 and snsd are doing well enough considering that this basic soyu song don't want to let go of the no 1 spot.

yeah they really are!

im proud! lool true dat!

The numbers aren't the best indication of sales since IGAB was a full album and Mr.Mr is a mini. Mini albums tend to sell less so we'll see it drop off faster over time. It seems like the sales are pretty good so far though. I saw something somewhere that said it's actually doing a bit better than IGAB was at this point. I'm sure we'll see a surge in numbers next week because a lot of people are probably waiting to order their albums to help with music shows.

Glad you're having fun over there already! Keep us updated :)

And here's Taeyeon's song:

This is great to hear, thanks for sharing! I think one of the girls' greatest strengths is that they are such a versatile group so they have a very large, diverse fanbase. It's also a bit of a curse since they'll never be able to please everyone :P It's nice that you've been able to get back into them and that your friends are starting to like them too! :)

Its cool! i just thought i would give my opinion on the mini album since i feel like it's not getting much credit! they really are a versatile group which is great! i think since they have different concepts all the time which is a strength tbh, they will please someone at some point! which is what got me and my friends into them again! since the concept they had this time i guessed pleased myself and my group of friends! and yeah its great, we have lengthy convos about them now LOOOOOOOL!

Right, thanks. I'm just asking because 2ne1's Come back home has only 700k in 16 hours, so it doesn't look that they will do any better than our girls

i dont think they can beat the amount of likes snsd has on mr mr let alone views

Keep it positive kids. Be happy we have so much great new music from both groups.

P.S. Calling the majority of Soshi fandom immature has been the biggest bash I have heard directed at anyone in this thread in a long time.

i want them to do healing camp! i feel like theyre gonna probs talk about the hardships they went through! it's gonna be emotional! and i think it'll be good for the public image as that would mean them talking about their personal lives to the public! since thats what healing camp is about really

We'll support each other. I just hope it isn't like that time that Tiffany spoke about her mom I wouldn't be able to handle that

i just looked up what you were talking about, that was really emotional! i cried, im in tears right now!

i wouldnt of imaged that she had gone through something like that since she's always smiling

i dont know if the word 'proud' is appropriate but for her to keep on smiling is something to be proud of

as long as snsd do variety shows, they will stay relevant and still be the NGG! some of the members ought to join some new variety shows and be permanent members or even better snsd has their own show!

someone said in a post above or on the last page, that they think snsd will most likely go down BoA's path but i kinda disagree, dont get me wrong, i love boA and her songs but i find her personality boring (sorrynotsorry) which is why in my opinion she's not as popular in the public (korea) in general as a whole anymore (though she still sells hella alot)! but snsd arent boring, they have variety skills and there funny! so no matter how much people find their comebacks, albums, singles a 'flop' or not as 'good', the public will love it because they adore snsd themselves and their personalities!

seriously look at lee hyori, i love that woman to bits but she obviously didnt stay relevant for 15 years of her career because of her singing, it's because of her variety skills and her personality which Korea has come to like! if you compare lee hyori and BoA in terms of relevance till now in Korea only, who's more relevant?

but i kinda see why that person compared snsd to boA, as BoA focuses her career in Japan more than Korea and that seems like what SM has been recently doing with snsd lately!!

i guess my point is, yeah SM is being a dickhead with the way there handling snsd but i think it's too early to say that there not the NGG anymore or that someone else is going to snatch it away from them! i mean what other girl group at the moment is even close enough to that title?

ive always said this and people can disagree, but snsd are multi entertainers, theyre basically the whole package!

I just want to point what I highlighted out for the purists in this forum that music/singing isn't everything in the industry. You need to have good variety/acting/hosting skills to stay relevant in this business.

thats exactly my point! it's not just about music/singing! it's about the variety/acting/hosting skills aswell which is why i used hyori as an example!  :ahmagah:
