well, Sooyoung does....LOOOL

and Seohyun sometimes

I know but when they do it's usually only the introduction or like talking for 5 seconds from what I've seen. Everytime someone wants to actually say something of decent length it's Korean. There Japanese appears to have actually regressed lol

Well to me I feel that it's ok for the girls to not speak Japanese during interviews. From what I've seen SM has been promoting the girls like foreign artists in Japan, they're not like KARA who actually stayed in Japan while they're promoting there. In a sense I kinda like it that way because I think fans don't realize that they are spoiled in a way. I've only seen Korean artists go out of their way to release songs in other languages and actually took time to learn the language (regardless of how much they took in lol). I don't often see it being the other way around, ex. American artists releasing songs in other languages.

There is also another thing that is the girls are always traveling with packed schedule that I don't really think they have time to sit down and study Japanese. Learning other languages is hard especially not living in an environment that forces you to use it everyday. Yes they have been promoting in Japan but they usually only stay a few days and then they're off to somewhere. Truthfully, I do wish that they speak more Japanese but in the same time I think we should cut them some slack if they don't. :)

I mean I'm not mad or anything and I know they don't have time, but unless SM is completely blind to how SNSD has been selling in Japan, it's obvious this promotional strategy they've had since 2012 isn't working. Have them learn some Japanese, actually promote their music, and maybe they'd sell well again.

SNSD is #7 on Recochoku daily single, #3 on Daily Video, and #7 on Uta (Ringtone I think). Looks like Galaxy Supernova is their biggest hit in a while. LOVE&GIRLS and Flower Power both fell out of top 10 rather quickly. GS is still holding up well after a week. If only they went on shows like Music Station etc. it could be a big hit imo. And they are #5 on Itunes Japan.

I hope the interviews keep coming and they do some actual performances on music shows. You guys may consider some shows irrelevant, but if Aachan, JUJU, etc. are going on it, I don't think it's a waste of time.

So just because another group is doing well on the charts some people don't want SNSD to have a comeback? That makes no sense. It's SNSD, they're still going to do well. Have a little faith in the girls, geez.

They would without a doubt do well, but SM hasn't given them a public friendly song in years. Their digital power has weakened significantly compared to 2009-2010. Going up against Busker Busker and IU who ALWAYS release public friendly songs and dominate digital will do nothing but cause them to be overshadowed unless SM actually gives them a quality album and title track the public enjoys.

So in a way, I have faith in SNSD, but not SM

that makes sence...

thanks guys

I'm glad you asked that question though cause I was wondering the same thing. Like 20 new people introduced themselves in the EXO thread and I was like "Dafuq?  :derp:

Atleast now I know why suddenly there are many new members in the artist threads. They should keep the forum private though. It's always nice to see new Sone Lurkers finally introduce themselves :ahmagah:
