yes they are like the new hot items atm but i'm not hating on them tho, i just hate the way SM handled the whole situation with snsd comeback this time, everything seemed chaos but hopefully the fans still supporting them no matter what and actually Mr. Mr. is not bad at all, i still jamming to it until now but it feels like SM could have done better than this..

 

I don't think EXO is the problem, TVXQ had 2 amazing choreos and To heart had 2 MVs right? I think SM just doesn't know how to handle SNSD in korea anymore. Either they are out of ideas, don't understand SNSD potencial, don't care anymore or I don't know but they need to step it up and actually put thought and effort into their next comeback. Mr Mr had great potential to be bigger than what it is.

 

I actually think that while IGAB was not public friendly, the quality of their comeback was on point, MV choreo, promo, everything. Its funny how SM had everything going for SNSD, they just needed to give them a good production and promo and everything would have been take care of by sones and national and international interest, yet they managed to screw this up  :rolleyes:

In a sense I agree with this. I think SM wants SNSD (and the girls themselves) to go down a path where they don't have to resort to the cookie-cutter sexy concepts that girl groups tend to do, but SM just doesn't know how to go down that path and still release public-friendly title tracks. From the outside looking in, it doesn't seem like a hard issue tbh. KPOP seems to be shifting in terms of what the public likes and I wonder if SM just monitors what the public likes then they can release a great song but idk.

 

Maybe it also has to do with the fact that SM doesn't have as much experience with girl groups as they have with boy groups? I don't know. I just hope they find what works for SNSD or that the girls themselves start taking over. Either way, what they really need to do is not screw up the promotions ever again.

i agree with IGAB, eventhough people were complaining about the song by saying "the song was a mess" , "too many things going on in one song" but still the MV saved it, the whole promotion was great but this round tho, the data loss, delays, the song itself, the MV. i think it's all about experimenting..

I understand where K-sones are coming from but I do believe MOST of Taeyeon post were for sone specifically and not directed to anyone else. Here's the thing, when you are dating someone, especially in the first month, you usually think about that person most of the time, so maybe she just incorporated her thought and feelings to her posts, isn't that what fans want? 


 


Taeyeon already apologize, she apologize and explain her intentions just as the news broke and I wouldn't be surprise if the apologizes again. I hope when the news die down k-sones will let their anger go and keep supporting the girls, cause it'll be real shame if they lose their fandom over this.

This would be the best promotion SM has done for them in years (a nice ballad being released as a single on their anniversary which is something media could talk about) so we know that's not going to happen

Reading those answers though, how cool would it be if they release and album where all of them get to do a solo?  :rlytearpls: Something like T-ara or Kara did. Each of them could work on a song and a style they want  :ahmagah: If only... I don't think SM would allow it though. Maybe for their 10th anniversay? Assuming they get there.
