Yes, the venue is small, the sound is bad, the event is sloppy and not grand at all.

 

But.... we should be very happy and joyous that our girls performed together.

The budget is small, so I bet they didn't really pay SM a lot of money, 

but, our girls still performed.

Either SM wanted this, or most likely the girls wanted this, or both wanted this.

And this is good.

The girls knows we missed them, and they know they have not performed as a group in a long while, hence they came, to satisfy us fans.

 

We must let SM know that the girls are still wanted, appreciated, by many many fans. That we still support them, and will continue to support them for a long time, for as long as the girls want our support.

 

After the news of their one-time closest rival and no 2 group disbanding, we should be all the more appreciative and supportive, even if this was a rather cheap and amateur event.

The girls still want to perform together, and are happy doing this.

So we must show our appreciation and support. Or SM might just disregard our girls.

To ensure that they can go on for a long time.

 

I don't care what kind of event they perform, right now, at this stage, as long as they are still 8 and we can get an opportunity to see them together on stage, we should cheer and be happy.

Okay, Its been 3 years, and some might have forgotten, or wasn't here in this thread when it happened.

After the events 3 years ago, the fandom was terribly split because of the ex-member.

 

After what she did, or what SM did to her, (depending on your POV), many fans were hurt.

Back then, we had a general agreement here, that is, not to mention or bring up the ex-member in this thread.

 

This is not a problem of fairness or whether OT8 or OT9 is right. 

regardless of your personal opinion, the fact remains the fandom was split, and many fans hurt by the events.

 

So every time the ex-member is brought up here, it hurts many fans here and causes arguments and derails the thread.

 

This thread is for the purpose of spazzing over our dearest SNSD, and sharing information and pics and news.

Anything that derails the thread should be avoided.

 

So for the sake of SNSD, and also for the sake of the ex-member, and to avoid hurting the feelings of your fellow Sones, 

please do not mention her anymore.

It does not matter who is right, or who you think is right in the OT8 vs OT9 argument. Its for our girls, so lets all co-operate and keep this thread peaceful and focused completely on SNSD.

This is exactly what we have been warned not to fall for.

Media-play by SM to split the fans, pin the blame on one member, and pressure the girls even more.

 

We must not fall for it.

As much as I would want the girls to stay together, I would hate for one or more of them to sign a shitty, disadvantageous contract with SM.

I want them to be happy, or at least compromise on their own terms,

and not get pressured to re-contract simply because they do not want to be the cause of group-split or because they don't want to hurt the other girls and the fans.

 

I am sure most of my fellow Sones feel the same.

They have given us 10 years, 3650 days or more, of fun, enjoyment, happiness, laughter, great music, mesmerising dancing  etc ...

 

If they really have to suffer another 2-3 year contract with a bad deal, I would rather they find their own happiness and leave.

 

It would break my heart a bit to see them split because SM does not offer them a good enough deal, but it would break my heart more to see the girls suffer from being forced to sign a lousy contract.

Our girls have more than enough star-power to get a good deal, its SM that does not want to spend more than the minimal to keep them all. 

 

Regardless of what happens, we must not, and should not blame anyone of them should they fail to stay as a group.

Knowing that they want to stay together, to me, is more than enough to satisfy me.

They have given me more than what I have given to them, and I cannot demand more from our girls.

 

Then again, SNSD have made miracles come true before, lets hope they can do it again.

We can only relax when its confirmed that ALL THE GIRLS have signed.

As long as even one if them have  not signed, anything we say or do will be used to pressure the girl to accept a deal they don't want to.

and then make guesses and speculations on which girl has re-contracted or not?

You can start a thread somewhere about your theories, but not here.

 

Fans are here for updates and news, not your cryptic half-guesses.
