On this day, Park Kyung Lim asked the girls, "The mini-album has 6 songs, but why didn't you add more songs and make it a full studio album?"

 

Sooyoung replied, "We do have plans to make a studio album this year.  The reason we released a mini-album was because we felt success was based on quality more so than quantity.  We spent a lot of time selecting and working on the songs."

 

YoonA continued, "This year, we have plans for a studio album and we've prepared a lot for our individual activities."  Hyoyeon added, "We won't be taking a break this year so you'll be able to see a lot of Girls' Generation."

Honestly, I don't think anyone knows the exact reason. 

Some cite fangirl jealousy because SNSD was close to boy group members (mainly suju and dbsk)

Others say, Suju fans started it because they were upset Tiffany said SNSD don't do subunits because

SNSD is "one" (and they took that to somehow mean Suju isn't). Some also say it was because certain 

members (Jessica and Tiffany) were rude to seniors and needed to be taught a lesson.

 

There were also wildly blown out of proportion rumors of fighting and violence between sone and elf. So

some say it was never about SNSD but other fandoms trying to put sone in their place and their way of doing 

it was to hurt SNSD.

 

I don't think we'll ever really know what compelled each and every person who turned off their lightstick to do so. 

It could've possibly just been them following like sheep.

 

None of these rumors of course excuse what they did because it's just rude and insensitive to do that to a performer.

 

Dude there are videos from the ELF sections where fanclub leaders are going around with big written signs and megaphones etc clearly telling everyone about the protest.

 

It was very much pre-planned vs SNSD by crazy fangirls from DBSK and SUJU. And it's fucking pathetic the dumb reasons they made up afterwards to try to justify their actions.

Okay, but I mainly said that because I don't know what compelled Wonderfuls and Triple S to do it because they

honestly had no reason to. Why should they listen to ELF and Cassies if it's not their fight. So i said they were probably just following like sheep because so many others seemed to be doing it.

Guys I have to say mrmr dance grew on me..the music core performance with the white outfits was perfection   :datass:

but I still prefer 'classic' choreos where the cameras don't move too much :lol:

Yes I am up for it :D

It would be a really good feature for when we have live shows/awards, live streaming of SoShi. At those times posting in the thread is kinda lacking in many aspects since it takes tooo long to post and get  a reply compared instant messaging. Also for the people who value their privacy a bit more, they can create a duplicate account just for SoShi spazzing  :happy:  :happy:
