support the 8 and bear negativity towards Jessica

support the 8 and is neutral towards Jessica.

 

Its is your OPINION that not talking about Jessica is disrespecting her.

We do not mention her because,

it can and will upset Sones who feel negative towards her

it causes non-stop pointless arguments 

it hurts Jessica supporters to see fans disliking Jessica

I remembered you guys randomly today and I stepped by again. Although I'm a more passive fan of Kpop today (just checking out releases and MVs) I will always cherish the good memories of shitposting on AllKPop forums with my business man meme, and generally having a good time with you all during the 2012-2013 seasons.

 

I don't know if any of the fans from then are still active in this thread/community, but I wish you all happy health and hopefully things have gone as well for you as they went for me the past few years.

It's just first week sales.

Lots of groups have front loaded sales to secure music show wins, the numbers will drop if their is no huge fanbase to sustain.

Taking the lead in the first kilometer of a marathon does not really mean anything.

 

I'd be impressed if they can match the total sales of one album.

otherwise, its just bragging for something meaningless, and a cheap attempt to get Sones riled up.

Remember Sones, a lot of people in Kpop have been waiting and waiting for a chink in the invincible SNSD armor, a weakness to attack. for years they waited since Soshi's debut.

A lo of the haters attacking aren't really maomaos or real haters, they are just other fandoms and trolls waiting for a chance like this to hurt the feeling of Sones and disturb us and rile us up.

Hoping to bring us down and let their favs rise up.

if you feel hurt or feel like disappearing just to escape their attacks, then you would have done exactly what the haters want.

Soshi did not have great digital sales all throughout their career either. yet they are the National Girl Group.

Why are you so affected?

But SM Idols are still very popular by large.

this album may not have great digital sales, but it will earn Tiffany the credit and positive opinion of the public.

If the haters are starting to get to you, go watch Channel SNSD or something like that, reaffirm why we love the girls.

SM knows what to do, Tiffany knows she made a mistake and apologised.

The other girls also know what to do, K-sones will also take appropriate actions.

 

The international fans must now also do the right thing.

 

Do not over-reeact and accuse K-netizens of being harsh on her.

Korean are justified to a certain extent to be angry at her, We must not negate all the apologies she has made or will be making.

K-netizens will view her and international fans unfavorably if we over-defend her or excuse her.

 

But, at the same time, we should not fall into the trap of thinking K-netizens represent the whole of Korea.

SNSD will get through this.

Tiffany just needs to lie low for a while.

Becos she grew up and was educated in the US, and also becos she is known to be more of a clutz and hardworking type

but not the clever and cunning type,

it takes the worst sting out of the situation.

 

Most people might be very upset, but once she apologises, it will be seen as an honest mistake. In time, it will fade,

 

All the vicious hate and attacks on her and her family we are seeing now is basically 'noise hate'.

Antis and haters and general 'vultures' who always love to rip and destroy the current scandal target.

It does not represent the average person.

There are always people who just love to bring down celebs, mindless hate to make themselves feel better.

But once someone else is a better or more current target, the mob will switch targets.

 

Sure, Tiffany will still get a 'dumb and ignorant Idol' tag from now on, but she will weather this and come out stronger.

The only thing I feel sad is she and the other girls will now be very absent or low-key on SNS from now on.

I only hope she learns her lesson and become more careful about her actions on SNS. 

The way she posts things, something like was bound to happen sooner or later.

 

It will blow over, becos it wasn't a deliberate and malicious-intent action. It was just carelessness and stupidity.

Lets not over-worry or speculate, it will only make others worry and speculate and the fandom gets all negative.
