After listening to the previews, can we talk about how diverse the album is. Seems like SM attempts to please the wide spectrum of fans they have

MY COMEBACK FOR THE GIRLS:

 

Announcement Of The Comeback - Late December 2013 - Early January 2014: teasers will follow suit after the comeback has been announced, each girl will receive a title track #1 teaser and title track #2 teaser so 18 picture teasers in all. MV teasers will also follow once the picture teasers are complete & an album medley soon after. 

 

Title Track #1 - "Another Love Song"

 

Song:  a Techno-Ballad with a mesh of sounds from their K-styled ballads & their J-styled ones, something along the lines of "Let It Rain", "Time Machine" or "Forever". It will represent the side of softer, more graceful side of Soshi we all know and love but with a more mature beauty to them than ever before.

 

MV: The girls on their way home for winter on a very vintage styled train set possibly in the 1940's-1950's, each with a different agenda to be so excited or regretful to be returning home. a different themed carriage for each of the girls based on a mix of their own stylings & previous concepts...for example, Tiffany's carriage has a lot of dark pink with decorations & symbols from "Genie" while Taeyeon's carriage is black & white with the lighting & patterns from "Run Devil Run" etc. they are wearing beautifully designed & elegantly mature outfits of vintage standard but with modern twists as they sing their hearts out on their voyage home...the video ends with a strange man entering the carriage of one of the girls as she looks out of the window not aware of what is to take place...

 

Promotion: the song will be promoted alongside the 2nd title track on all of the music shows along with many of the other album tracks

 

Title Track #2 - "Dastardly"

 

Song: a thumping electro dance song with elements of horror sounds, minimal dubstep undertones & haunting synthesizers which will show off a new & improved darker soshi, a grittier, unrelenting Soshi desperate to shed their good girl image & ultimately proving it with this terrifyingly sexy club smashing pussy popper!

 

MV: the story continues on from "Another Love Song" but switches into an silent movie kinda concept with shots of black with written words in both english & korean popping up to signify the dialogue between the girls & this strange yet handsome man, the man proceeds to take one of the girls hostage in a similar vein to the old damsel in distress stories & pretty much based around the adventures of penelope pitstop. His attack causes the train to dislodge from the track and into the mountain side which they train had been trailing alongside throughout its journey. In the distance the girls can see the man whisking off his victim into his domineering castle while thunder & snow plummet down all around. the song then begins as the girls pose like immense goddesses in the first set.

 

1st Set - A snow alcove with fire roaring in the background amongst the remnants of the train that the girls were previously on, ice shards surround them like pristine crystals set upon the sides of the mountain. The girls outfits consist of high class winter wear with lots of russian styled couture fur jackets & hates with black & gold leather & lace jeans or leggings with jet black & white boots. the furs are predominantly black, white & grey but with smatterings of darker purples, blues & reds everywhere to create an almost surreal pyschadellic effect but still looking mature & elegant for the most part. 

 

2nd Set - The grand hall of the strange handsome man's castle itself where the girls are adorned in beautiful, victorian style gowns but made into a masculine suit so to make it simple for the girls to bust out the song's amazing choreography too. its almost like a ballroom setting with thundering & lightening roaring behind the girls seen through the castles mosaic & macabre windows, hundreds are dancing around the girls in the style of that era meaning a lot of romantic slow twirls, curtsying & lowering of the woman as the gentleman support their backs. during the dance break and there on after, the party goers reveal they are vampires which the girls are also. 

 

3rd Set - The dungeon in which a plethora of strange creatures & imprisoned victims are littered around in cages, nothing too grotesque or horrifying for the viewers eye (dont worry no kind of gore like "Voodoo" by Vixx). in the back ground is a huge spider web in which a mechanical gargantuan tarantula is parade around while the girls perform in uniform consisting of mummifying wrap & black and red bondage tape. there are also items around indicating the dungeon is also some sort of laboratory in which the strange yet handsome man's scientist companion & accomplice does his heinous experiments on the victims that the man of the house himself kidnaps.

 

4th set - Last but not least, The Girls are dressed as individual creatures of the night after being experimented on by the crazed scientist from the 3rd Set. the set is an ancient tomb looking area, obviously that of the handsome man's origins. the girls dressed in their individual equally ghoulish yet fabulously fashionable outfits bust out the choreography even fiercer than before and the set around starts up into motion, with parts of the tomb & the castle swtiching as if it was alive & moving, the song ends with this set showing the castle collapsing, eventually crumbling away with the girls, the party goers, the monsters, the scientist & the man himself still inside.

 

The mv ends with the the castle literally in pieces as the thunder, lighting & snow still downpour across the area & the surrounding mountains, the train still on fire in the distance. the camera pans around and zooms into the debris of the once hauntingly beautiful castle when all of a sudden the snow starts to move and a hand reaches out...whose hand it is? well thats for me to know and for you to find out.

 

Album #5 - "Something Wicked This Way Comes"

 

Songs: 11 songs that take on a completely new darker, grittier, edgier & even a more sorrowful sound that the girls have never tried before. there is still a wide range of tones, genres & feels to be had from the album but the overall cohesiveness & concept its going for is mature more than anything else. a lot of

electro, techno, rocktronic, pop & thumping basslines are to be heard throughout the glorious hour that the album will run for along with ballad anthems that would make their previous discography weep tears of blood, sweat and pride at how far the girls have come in diversity & sound.

 

Concept: the album will come with 2 covers 

 

1 - The girls wearing beautiful, elegant outfits to represent the feel of "Another Love Song"

2 - The girls donning their monstrous "upgrade" looks to represent the feel of "Dastardly" 

 

each will come with a picture card & a photobook with dozens of pictures of the girls in their respective outfits & concepts

 

The album will also come with a dvd with music videos for both title tracks including a dance version for "Dastardly" & a behind the scenes shoot for the covers & music videos.

 

Promotion: promotion for the album will last a month and will see pretty much all of the album tracks being performed across all kinds of music show formats from the ones you can win on to the casual ones like sketchbook 

 

Album #5 Pt.II - Coming Soon!

 

Yas sis, I've always been anticipating Sooyoung's(the user) & your posts when it comes to constructive discussions.

Anyways, I'd want them to pull a western/Japanese-promo format. Promote 3-4 lead singles to excite & raise GP interest in their music(ultimately contribute to increase album sales etc)

Appearances in variety shows are considered pivotal to sell their personalities & pushed-images to the GP(/to cue people how hilarious and vibrant they are as legitimate cultural icon of SK  ) so they need them. However, crappy music shows (sans MuBank(/Inki?) do little to promotion I think, unless they perform on highly rated TV programmes like YHY's Sketchbook & Immortal Song 2.
