Didn't they do the same with Paparazzi? Kept doing the little camera hand thing everywhere and the end product was decent, but definitely not amazing per say

But their Korean title tracks and music videos are, most of the time, a lot better-produced than their Japanese ones and I always thought SM puts a lot more thought into Korean singles.

They have better Japanese albums overall, but their Korean title tracks are a lot more salid than their Japanese singles, with the exception of MR. TAXI imo. So I'm expecting a lot from their upcoming Korean comeback !

SM didn't say the comeback was delayed though ? They're just saying assumptions about SNSD's comeback being imminent are unfounded. It doesn't mean the comeback won't be in February.

We all know the "we haven't decided on the date yet" thing is just SM's favorite statement to ask people to calm their tits. They've said that so many times in the past and if I'm not wrong, they have when the group's comeback in question actually happened not long after. They perfectly know when they're going to make SNSD come back imo. And it can't be that far away since they've already shot the music video.

So stay positive and wait a bit longer guys !  :chu:

Meh...

I'm not too worried about the "delay"

Last year (and the year before that) SM said that f(x)'s comeback date is still up in the air and week later the teasers dropped.

This was SM's statement on the 9th July:

The agency also commented on f(x)'s possible comeback and revealed, "We are currently planning for their comeback but we are still looking into a specific comeback date."

And the teaser dropped on the 17th July.

Hopefully, it'll be like that for SNSD ^^

Yes ! As I said in my previous post, it's just SM's way to tell everyone "stfu and wait". They must have been asked a lot about SNSD's comeback date.

Remember what Jessica said: BE THE BIGGER PERSON

I had my rage earlier but then I realized one fact about EXO winning SMA Daesang earlier and why they deserved it: They sold a million copies

Some of you may disagree about it but when was the time when an artist sold a million copies in a year? You have to go back to almost a decade ago to see one.

Congratulations to EXO for winning it. SM pushed it kinda too far but gratz to them anyway.

By releasing 3 albums in 2 languages. Reminds me of "The Boys" which sold almost half a million on its own and barely got any award for that achievement, sigh... The cons of releasing an album at the end of the year.

But the girls have won so many awards already.  :datass: Let's be grateful for all this instead.

I never said anything about them? I am talking about Yoona specifically cause she is my biased but i`m always sorry if one of the girls is neglected. The fact is Yoona has been neglected for past year and a half, just cause she is doing PMIA i`m not gonna pretend she was not in a dungeon for a year and a half. And how come she didn`t do a solo magazine photo shoot in ages? Yoona has drama to promote and still she is nowhere to be seen. It`s ridiculous.

Nothing is wrong with me, you can keep pretending that`s not happening but it`s the truth. Yoona can only get spotlight these days as a solo artist, as part of SNSD she is a pretty sidekick.

Back in the day when they were hated , they dragged Yoona everywhere ,she put a stop on her solo career for more than  two years in 2009/2010/2011 so SM could  use her popularity to promote SNSD.

Now that SNSD has their Nationals stratus  and doesn`t need any more promotion , who gives a shit about Yoona, right? We will promote other members( well except for poor Sunny who is in worse position that Yoona) and give Yoona a random drama every year and a half just so the girl doesn`t sit around doing nothing.

I am sick to see Yoona loos her spot in SNSD, i love her as actress and i`m glad she is improving, but i love Yoona the most as SNSD Yoona the face of the National group. And i know she loves herself that way too. So i`m sorry to see she is getting less and less lines, less and less screen time and less and less attention as SNSD member. :>_>:

If you don`t see this you are blind.

If you think so about Yoona, what should fans of other members such as Yuri or Hyoyeon think ?  :omg:

Yuri's my favorite member and I wish she had the same "lack of screen time" as Yoona tbh... You have the right to voice your opinion on this forum but remember that Yoona's far from being a ghost in SNSD. I've learnt, as a Yuri fan, to just appreciate the little she has and pray she'll shine more next time. SNSD is a nine-member group, it's bound to happen that some members will have more spotlight than others. But I think Yoona is very very very very far from what you've described.

I don't see the problem with the Olympics tbh... It's not like the music industry is going to freeze for a whole month. Sports and music are two different worlds which probably cater to two different audiences. But mid-February or late February would sound about right...

I'm seriously starting to think it was SM's plan from the start not to make the girls comeback in January. Showing fans the teaser in December and giving them enough to hope for an imminent comeback is only making it the most anticipated SNSD album ever from fans. Day by day, everyone's attention is on whether there has been news on their new album. It would make sense for SM to create frustration to only boost the sales and increase the impact of their comeback. It's not like SNSD needs it, but just imagine the fans' excitement when the news if finally out ? The Internet is gonna crash tbh.

The thing is, I'm scared SONE are starting to get more pissed than excited by that.  -_-

The diamond picture is most likely fake, just like the Twitter account.

There's an officialy SMTOWN NOW website and a mobile app and the supposedly teaser picture isn't on any of them :

http://now.smtown.com/ and http://goo.gl/zwain2

Also, the Twitter account is never referred to, unlike the official Facebook account to which there are links all over both the website and the app.

So I guess no SNSD comeback in sight yet... Sigh...  :omgwtf:

I feel like that might be the reason. And it would be huge to see Yoona be face of some high end brand, she would be the first idol to endorse something like that. :hurr:

IPKN (Tiffany) and Llang (Sooyoung) are luxury cosmetics brands though... Not to mention that Yuri endorsed Biotherm as well.

Those are very, very, expansive brands.

Those are not considered high end brands in Korea. Only famous actresses endorse those brands. :._.:

They did Dior.

AMORE PACIFIC,Sulwhasoo,Hera ,IOPE,The history of fu,O HUI,su:m 37° and VIDI VICI are considered high end in Korea.

Among Korean brands, yes. But Biotherm is French and it's a high-end brand. :)

I also checked and it's true that APKN isn't a luxury brand though, I take that back.  :chu:

It is reported that SNSD finished the MV shooting for the title song last year but advanced shooting are shot for improvements recently.

From the news, it is said that the release date is yet to be confirmed but plan to be release in Feb. It is expected to be a mini album.

:ahmagah:

Mini album could mean another release later this year.  :hurr:

so they showed us clips from a half-finished mv?

Well I'm all for a better finished product. But it better not be the media releasing more fake SNSD related stuff just to get more hits :donthinkso:

Maybe it was supposed to be finished but then for some reason they decided that it wasn't good enough ? I'm glad because this shows that SM is putting a lot of thought in SNSD's comeback. For once, it looks like they're not half-assing things and they seem to be seeing great potential in this release, which makes me anticipate it a lot more - if that's even possible lol.  :chu:

Just like you, if the delay happened because SM wanted to deliver a better product, then I'm all for it.  :)
