Another thing is, I'm probably the one who thinks this but the mv is supposed to look like that because we're seeing the view  from the Mr. Mr. (the guy) their patient- And the guy is what? mentally unstable? sick? migraine? ill? hallucinating? amnesia? while recalling his moments with them. he looks like he is in an evil/satanic/weird hospital (which looks very creepy, mysterious and eerie) and they're messing him up. which explains why the messy/blurry scenes that looks weird and stuff. mv we're seeing is like fragments of his memory/imaginations.

 

Therefore, to me the styling of the mv is intentional and artistic. its supposed to be that way.

Okay I'm not the most eloquent person to explain this, but I hope you get what I mean.

 

Just my opinion.

 

And of course you were right because the medicine they show in the beginning is a Calcium Chloride IV drip. Here are the side effects:

so i guess instead of a 1:30 teaser we got the full music video...Nice...

 

so here's my take on it...am i disappointing a little bit? yes,but not with SNSD, i wanted to see more dancing in the video and i felt like i didn't get that...but then again maybe there's a dance video in the works,or they want to surprise everyone when they have there comeback. secondly i will admit i think the editing is scattered and it didn't really make sense to me, The girls look gorgeous as usual but honestly i just cant get pass the editing.

I really like this but I still think the girls should comeback later with a full album similar to what they do in Japan and totally slay the charts and stages. 

 

SM you disappointed me with all this mess in the comeback

I really like the MV but you really can make 3 MV with this video and thats what bothers me the most!

I hate when we actually need a dance version SM dont give it! 

I personally LOVE the dance! Is unique, catchy, it has some easy steps and others not much so It will be easier for the general public

to learn and thats what the girls need right now!

Ladies and gentlemen, this MV is especially made for artistic caps lol

All the caps are absolutely GORGEOUS

My personal favorite "artistic" cap is the really short part where we look through the little window in the hospital door and see the girls "working" on the guy.

Seriously, i can't with some people thinking this mv was half assed. it was so far from half assed. The shots were amazing, the colour/contrast. If this is what you guys call "neglect" then just take a look at any of SJs MV's post 2009. Yes the garage part was a bit out of place but at least we got some good eye candy from them lol.

I'm thinking about @YunJaeChun's theory while rewatching the MV and everything seems to be right.

 

Maybe during the scenes in the hospital the guy is still conscious, that's why they're colourful but they're all blurry and grainy because the medicine they gave him begins to work. And then the scenes in the garage and in the suits may be his hallucinations or dreams, that's why they're b&w or in muted colours.

 

 

All in all, I begin to love the MV even more

I love the girls but I have to say either:

A) some of the girls pissed off the SM higher ups

B) SM assigned some new people to be in charge of SNSD's direction

C) theres gonna be a new SM girlgroup

D) this is bait for YG which SM will release something EPIC later

 

I really hope its just D, because the way SM has handled everything about this comeback is a MESS. SNSD and us fans deserve better.

Oh god oh god this I was day dreaming this all day while relistening old Gaga and Brit and I got so hyped up .

When will SNSD have their The Fame tbh

 

Sadly SM is far too ungenerous to give a girl group a epic comeback. In fact sadly I think this will be the only OT9 album this year.After that we are going to get a nice TTS cb , god forbid full album . 

 

If SNSD really did piss off the higher ups, I'm scared , this is like their way of saying "no matter how big you are we own you"

 

You should add the theory that SM might want to lose the interest in  SNSD for the new gg like you said , but 

also to direct the attention towards TTS , add the possibility of breaking them up down to only TTS.

Don`t get me started on line distribution. 

 

Seriously Yoona should just quit SNSD if they are gonna treat her like this. She is famous and popular enough to be star on her own, and we all know acting is her true love. Honestly it`s sad that she has more time to shine when she is doing solo projects than when she is with her own group. Too bad she is so attached to the group and loves SNSD more than anything, cause she would honestly be better on her own at this point.

I'm a yoona fan too but without SM, she wouldn't be where she is rn. She may not have much lines in SNSD but SM does a really good job promoting her in her dramas, cfs, she became the most well-known SNSD girl in public, etc stuff outside SNSD.

Besides, she was already exposed too much during Gee, Genie, etc eras..

 

I appreciate that she loves SNSD and her members so much despite her being such a huge -rep idol unlike some very well-known members in other groups where they're greedy to get a solo and want to get out of the group once they got so big and they let fame get into their heads (this mostly happens to western stars though). That means Yoona is not selfish.
