legit this whole album is amazing. I think my top three are Time Lapse, I'm Ok, and Sweet Love. But its so hard to pick :p

Also im pretty sure, if anyone gonna brag, snsd getting 100 million first as a girl group would be more significant lets be honest.

That's fairly debatable imo. If we are just talking domestic sales and CFs, then I suppose so. But part of being the #1 group is your power as an export. We have yet to see what kind of impact they have in the Japanese market. SNSD has been doing arena tours since that first 2009-2010 tour. Phantasia was enormously successful and that was just last year, as well. Will Twice sell 30k+ seats at Saitama? How are they doing in Tokyo? Are they hitting top 5 on Oricon? Time will tell.

 

We also haven't seen any kind of real acting prowess like Yoong in her first early drama. SNSD's power lies in their full spectrum dominance. You can maybe knock down one or two categories, but can you knock them all down?

 

I have a feeling this is going to be a Michael Jordan "retiring" thing. He goes away for a few years, and you kind of forget about him. He comes back, and no one can really compete with him. I think people will be surprised at how big of a deal the 10th anniversary record and tour will be.

When will people realize that SNSD's legacy isn't just based off of album sales and YT views? Also in regards to YT views, SNSD was the first Kpop act to hit 100 million views--that's legacy. No one imagined that a group could hit that number back then. It's similar to how sports has evolved over the years. When you look at some of the records from the past, they don't match up to the numbers you see today. However, those athletes were the first and set the standard. 

 

And lets not forget that SNSD is the 2nd best selling girl group of all time

 

And 5 of their tours are in the top 10 for highest grossing girl group tours of all time

 

SNSD changed what it meant to be a girl group in the industry. They proved that yes girl groups can compete with boy groups. Their impact isn't just within kpop. 

 

All the members have succeeded in some field outside of the group. The leader of SNSD was the 2nd best selling digital artist for last year and #1 on Gallup after a decade in the game. Not to mention that SNSD was #5 when their last group activity was back in August of 2015.

 

Just look at how even though ITNW wasn't a national hit or anything, it inspired millions during the protests

 

The thing about SNSD is that people always doubt them before they make a cb. Just go look at the NB articles when they came back with IGAB, I-fans were claiming that they were over and we all know what an amazing year 2013 was.

 

Ever since SNSD debuted in 2007, people have always doubted them, but time after time they have proven that this is indeed their generation.

Damn, dont be pessimistic guys, stop caring about those things like YouTube views and/or album sales, why? Because aside from fans, whos gonna remember about those youtube record? They arent official, all the official record lie with gangnam style, the only one thats not is the first kpop mv to reach 100 millions, and we all know who it belong to, and sales, the bestselling kpop girlgroup of all time is still snsd and if twice can keep the rate they are going, as in selling 500k+ a year, its gonna take them about 8 to 9 years to get there, our job is simply to support the girls and increase the gap, and pushing their sale more, we only need 500k more albums to officially surpass hot, thats what i call a challenge.
