But anyone will look tiny next to Nicole Kidman. The lady is almost 6 feet tall. over 180 cm. She would tower over possibly any Kpop female Idol.

I don't think Fany's fashion is bad, its just that she's bolder with her fashion, as opposed to Soo and Jess, who have a more elegant, clean approach. Becase of that, she can have her hits and misses but I'm sure as she learns more about styling and stuff, she'll do better.

 

This. She doesn't always stick to one style, mostly always experimenting that's why she has her hits and misses. And why her airport fashion is never consistent. One day she'd be classy, the next she'd be boyish, or she'd go casual. Plus, the whole fashion world is an acquired taste 

 

Personally, I think she should restrain a bit. As always when she gets excited over something, she gets to be too enthusiastic, e.g. Holler comeback.

Tiffany tries very hard to stand out or look different for the fashion aspect of TTS, I guess she wants to differentiate TTS from SNSD's style. More flamboyant and loud, as expected from a leo. and it worked I think.

Hit and misses are part of the learning process, she only just started to try a hand in this production thingy. I think she will do great in the future. The guts and willingness to try many things and make mistakes is necessary.

 

As for the MAMA award, its Mnet.   

It has the least credibility and importance, plus Mnet is biased as f*ck to another two-letter named Kpop company.

Based on previous years, we should all know that even if you win the voting by a shitload , the actually winner can be totally different. The voting is just to bring traffic to the site, thats all.

 

No need to be to stressed about the vote scores and difference. SNSD may lose the voting by a huge margin and still win. Or we may lead the votes by a large gap, only to see someone else win. It all depends on Mnet, not the voting.

So while we can vote, don't worry too much about it. 

 

MAMA is the sh*ttiest award ceremony tbh. There are so many things wrong with the system. And its "no attendance, no award" policy is stupid. Let the winner be the winner because they deserved it, and not because they bothered to show up.

Sones as far as I know mnet had an issue with sm right? I still don't know what were the reasons but every sm artist couldn't perform at any mnet music show or award ceremonie during 2009 till mid 2011 right?

 

Also can you tell me which award ceremonies are the most prestigious right now? 

The golden disk award used to be one of the most prestigious but I see plenty of comments from users who say it's not anymore :/ There's also the melon awards, gaon.....awards, korean music awards..... blah blah... can you guys tell me about this please

 

I really don't know what happened with SM and Mnet back then. I'm sure someone here will enlighten us.

 

And as for GDA, I do think out of the awards it's still prestigious. It is the least biased, imo. But of course the producers/organizers will always bring in the "trends" to generate public interest. Kind of like the Grammy's. The awards themselves aren't as biased but you still see performances and stuff from people who are currently "in", or you see them get a lot of broadcast time.

The "no attendance, no award" policy of MAMA applies here, so if they're attending, it's a sure thing they'll win at least one. Though I doubt they'd go, or if they did, only a few of the members like Seo and Hyo the last time.

 

 

 

Off topic:

 

The people being happy about KhunFany "breaking up" sickens me, especially since you see a flood of their comments on her IG posts. Having your heartbroken is not something for others to be happy about. These children needs to reevaluate their lives.

 

Although, I don't think they broke up since the song he tweeted was actually quite romantic and was probably for Tiff in some way. And she looked quite happy the other day as usual.

Sooyoung is actually pretty good at English. When the girls were in NYC for SMTown back in 2011 they did some interviews and she spoke the most after JeTi. She used complex words and such too, if she was that good back then imagine how good she is now. I'd say she's a close second to Seohyun out of the non-native speakers in SNSD.

 

Around 1:15 in this video there's a clip from the fanmeet Soshified held and she speaks very well

She was also part of an interview with just JeTi but of course Tiffany spoke the most lol. She speaks at 1:10

It's weird looking back at these English interviews and seeing how much has changed since then. Kinda wish they'd at least released the fabled English album just because but oh well.

 

Isn't it known that Sooyoung is considered the best in English as a non-native speaker out of the group though?

Seohyun's really great, too. But she doesn't really capitalize on that ability as much as Sooyoung. Soo even answered fans in English several times on IG.

Same omg. f(x)'s choreographies especially have been getting simpler and simpler which is incredibly frustrating. At least SNSD had IGAB. I don't know why they don't use Rino more, her choreography isn't always the most difficult but it's miles better than Jillian's and it fits the girls well. Genie, Hoot, Mr. Taxi, Paparazzi are all great.

 

I'd really like to see them work with JaeWon again...has he done anything for them since ITNW?

Didn't Rino work with them recently for Karma Butterfly? But I agree. Jill needs to go. Also, I love Kyle's choreo for Adrenaline. SM should get him to work with girls for future releases.

is it just me or is TTS promotion so ****ing long?

its been almost 3 months

 

They've stopped officially promoting though. Them performing at events are just events they were booked for. Same thing with Mr. Mr.. It was only promoted officially for less than a month but that didn't stop them from attending events and performing it (along with old SNSD songs).

I'm sure this has been asked 1981349712398 times already, but why hasn't SoShi ever held a concert outside of Asia? I used to think this was just an SM thing, but TVXQ, SHINee, and Super Junior have performed in the likes of Mexico, Argentina, Chile, England, France, etc. So, what gives? Does SM doubt SNSD's ability to sell out stadiums in non-Asian countries?

 

Their fees are expensive, plus you'll have to bring all their stuff with them (which will be more expensive). It's just not worth it for SM when they could earn as much or more just by staying in Asia. Plus, they all have their schedules, and their individual fees are high, too. Unless SM lowers the group's fees, solo concerts outside of Asia won't happen.

Because of the group's value. They're the Nation's Girl Group and one of the long-standing leaders of Hallyu. And SM will take advantage of that status. You can expect their fees to be really high.

Ikr... like where were these people back before the drama happened? They just all popped out of nowhere to jump on the bandwagon. Amusing to watch how reaching they still are after these past months.

 

Anyway, it's December here! More than one week before Tokyo Dome! Can't wait for "Tokyo Dome, put it back on!" 

 

And hopefully SM prepared a big budget for their outfits and stages.

I don't know if it was already posted but Seo's partner in the musical, Joo Jin-mo, is the king in A Frozen Flower.

That 19+ movie 2NY watched for Jo In Sung   I'm trying to imagine their reactions when they first found out about Seohyun being partnered with him.

 

 

Tiffany will get hate if she goes alone & I hope she doesn't perform. Like I am actually seriously hoping she just doesn't show up if she's alone. They should send Yoona.

I agree. But no one remembers she barely had solo activities the first half of the year and went to hide in a cave after 0404... didn't even update her UFO. She only started getting activities after the announcement of TTS comeback. Then you add the Sica issue and now people just jumps on whatever she does. It's exhausting to see her get dragged left and right really.
