Hey guys, I'm new here. Just got to know about KPop few months back. I guess I was living under a rock or something lol. SNSD is the only KPop group I follow and love. My bias is Miss Jessica Jung. I've spent the last few months getting to know the girls through their interviews and variety shows and I must say they are a bunch of beautiful dorks with wonderful personalities. I keep falling in love with them more and more :happy:

Just got some DMs from a friend of mine who's a photographer. he went to the airport today for SNSD. He's not really a fan though, he was hired by a clothing brand, because they wanted to photograph their product worn by the girls. He was stunned by the number of people who came for SNSD. most of them were fans and there were a lot of foreign fans too.

 

The girls were safely guided by security guards. Obviously security issue is no more there. Think how much they use the airport. However he thought some fans, mostly foreign fans are trying to get closer and touch the girls. he's not worrying because guards are pro.

 

The story is from outside of the fandom so i think it's a precious tip for you guys. please let the girls go safely. thank you.

 

(there must be some people who's asking why i am not talking about korean fans. i am korean and i can talk to koreans in korean.)

7th Anniversary of Girls’ Generation is coming up! Let’s gather around and do a meaningful project for them; A promise from our heart….a “fingerpromiseâ€, yes you read that correctly. Not a pinkypromise but a fingerpromise ;D

 

Past half year has been “tough†for all of us, but as long as SONEs stay by their side, all should be fine right? Let’s express this feeling to them and show the girls we will forever be by their side, no matter what happens.

 

Project: Fingerpromise

 

 

 

Step 1: Making the picture

 

Pick one of our backgrounds OR create your own with the same text

Personally sign it off (name, nickname, drawing)

Make a photo with your fingers in front (see examples)

Step 2: Uploading and posting

 

Before uploading, hash tag your photo with: #fingerpromise #soshi7thanniv

Tag/mention the girls (all of them)!

If you want to say your well wishes, put it in the comment section.

Upload your photo on Instagram, Twitter and/or Weibo.

Let’s start doing this on 5 Aug 2014, midnight KST sharp. Not a second too soon!

If you don’t have an SNS you can use, send us your pictures with your name and message before 4 Aug noon KST. We will then post this up for you on our SONEurope SNS. Email: [email protected].

 

Rules:

 

No mention of your bias, this is a project for the group Girls’ Generation!

No coupling allowed (TaeNy, YulSic, YoonYul,…). Just for that day, none of them exist. All 9 together and nothing less.

No malicious comments. If you don’t love the girls, then don’t join, thanks.

That’s it! Let your inner creativity come out and join us in this project! Let’s GO~~

Extra project (optional): Send us the end results of your creativity ^^ This will be used for later projects. We are thinking of making a photobook of it and sending it to the girls.
