I see so many people who think that behind-the-scenes stuff such as rehearsals are not required.

 

SNSD have been in the Korean industry for 7+ years, and 4+ years in the Japanese industry. Their discography is longer than 75%-80% of the active idol groups. And half of that discography has choreography. How can people think that rehearsals are not important when they even make mistakes when they perform ITNW, their oldest choreography?

 

Let's also take into account that they mostly sing in 2 languages, and most of them are not even fluent in the other one. I speak 4 languages but even there are times that my brain muddles up.

 

With those many choreography and songs to remember, do you honestly just give them the set list and expect for their brains to just follow through and remember everything?

Not to mention rehearsals are also needed to prepare stages at the events. So, you'll just let the performers and audience to suffer through bad audio system and unprepared stages then?

A performer giving a good show for the audience is a simple courtesy to all the preparation that usually takes days, weeks, and sometimes months, for the organizers and staff involved.

 

So, I'm not just taking accounts of the hardship of the girls. Think of all the sleepless nights organizers and staff have to go through just to prepare one simple stage.

 

We only see the complete presentation. And people tend to overlook all the planning and development before leading up to the event.

What 4 languages can you speak? And are you fluent in all of them?

 

Sadly I'm only fluent in 3 haha. My country's official language, English, my hometown's, and another one used in the country.

 

 

Also, how legit is Tyler Kwon's company?

 

When the girls use an outfit or has an accessory, it only takes minutes for CSI sones to discover what they are. But I've never seen a post where anyone got into details of TK's company. And I'm sure a lot of people are searching up on it.

It's hard to say about TK's company because you'll need someone familiar with the Hong Kong entertainment scene for his more recent years, otherwise the company is based in New York. As far as I've searched I can't really find anything on Reuters, Google, Yahoo or Bloomberg. Company based business there's the sale of Mid South Packaging which was under his control as well as the partnership with EEG in HK.

Of all of them, without background knowledge on him, I can only say I have suspicions on his timing for Gillian Chung and the partnership with EEG.

 

Legality wise, it'll be fine, EEG would've done their homework. In terms of the person? Much harder to say.

 

 

I rely so much on the information age that when something comes up blank, it bothers me. I would be less worried for Sica's welfare if she had ended up with someone who doesn't have a questionable past

Especially when it is claimed that his company or conglomerate or whatever is successful and international. You'd think someone could've come up with a sufficient information by now.

The problem is that I think they focused a lot on the capital/investment side of the company first, so you have private banking and hedge funds which you generally require a certain level of wealth to inquire more specific information on, the general info can be found on their site.

 

The entertainment side is a more recent venture, starting with Passion Play in 2010 which flopped as a movie, moving onto Seoulcialite (connected to YG back in 2010), Veewall in 2013 and the partnership with EEG in 2013 as well. Anything before that requires a bit more effort in digging in.

 

Furthermore it's a private business, so the details are harder to come by, given they're not answerable to anyone but their own clients. In terms of business, I can say it's legitimate. What he does to further the business is what worries me more than the legitimacy of the business itself.

Just to say something about rehearsals, because I've seen you blaming Jessica for that.

 

They always have rehearsals on the day of the fanmeet/concert at the venue they're performing. And it's not like they haven't performed those songs in months, they aren't even new songs to begin with.

 

If you didn't read my first post, I was talking about the people who were shrugging off that rehearsals aren't important, not Jessica herself.

And yet TTS's mini-album, even just 3/9 of the group, is already the 2nd best selling album from girl groups this year, and still selling well lol. And of course, SNSD's Mr. Mr. (even though it was a messy comeback) is at 1st.

 

Don't mind them. Tbh, the next comeback will not actually be a make it or break it situation. The fandom is actually more determined now to support the group fully and show the girls that staying, not disbanding at this point, was a worthwhile decision.
