The public doesn't know what they want until you give them, especially in the music industry.

 

EDM, dubstep... there's always been someone who invented a new sound that shook up the industry. I think Sooyoung was trying to say that instead of following the trends, they are trying to create them by trying new things.

 

Whether or not they are doing it right is another question and a matter of personal taste.

I think people have been getting sucked into this ignorant bandwagon SNSD hate as of late. 

Ignorant and stupid since its been a long time I saw a thread about the girls that did not garner heavy criticism spurred by the many vids people can get on youtube and elsewhere where some might say their performances have been "sub-par".

 

We are expecting them to be the saviours of k-pop and demanding music orgasms from their albums when in reality they have already done so in the past.

 

After so many years SNSD is not just a music group anymore. They are a brand that has a lot of influence in many places. Due to that we the fans are able to have more news of them, more pics, more vids, more interactions between them. Basically the water that quenches a fans thirst.

 

Personally I can deal with mediocre performances because I am getting more of them in other areas to satisfy me.

Secondly the chance for an intelligent conversation with you flew out of the window when you started making claims on what the girls think or feel about their fans, when you cannot have any possible idea about it.

Where did this "SNSD sucks because they only put in mild effort" thing come from? Perhaps I am biased as hell (I probably am, admittedly), but where was the poor effort at The Tokyo Dome or in the CMIYC video. I thought those performances were great. And pointing to one or two missed moves ain't gonna cut it when they are doing thousands of coordinated movements during a concert.

 

Excuse me if I don't weep into my pillow that Taeyeon didn't snap her arm a little harder during the Gee performance after a race in Indonesia. I mean, really? Is this where the critics are at right now? Not a lot of talk of the sensational vocal layering, production, and harmony out of the group. I hear mostly crickets in that regard.
