I listened to the whole album twice now and I absolutely love it. It's very cohesive and I love the retro sound of the songs. The girls sound amazing and everyone seems to get their fair shar of lines, which makes me really happy! I think it might be my favourite album of them smile.png <333

 

Oh, and my favourite songs are FAN, One Last Time and All Night. This might change, though, cause I plan to replay the album A LOT, haha :D

new SNSD stan~ <3 I always casually listened to their songs, but "Holiday" is really crazy good <3 I'm seriously loving this concept and I can't believe that some idiots are saying that TWICE is taking over SNSD as if SNSD is "over" already... with an awesome song like this and them being in their 10th yr, this amazes me and they are definitely not "over" <3 I have soo much respect for sunbae groups ever since the "rise of rookie groups"... now I find myself listening to old SNSD, 4Minute, Miss A, SISTAR, and 2NE1 songs even more than I used to... gonna miss the 1.5-2nd gen. GGs.. today, we only have SNSD and Apink <3 so I hope things between Pandas and Soshis improve because it's ridiculous that our fandoms still fight against each other when we're the only ones of the sunbaes still "present" (not disbanded and doing well)... 

 

anyway, gotta say I love "Holiday" so much <333 it's so catchy, hip, fresh, and cute (totally SNSD style) <3 my fave members are Tiffany, Seohyun, Yoona & Sooyoung <3 they all shined to me QRLGYBO.png

 

can someone recommend some good SNSD b-side tracks that are really good?? I'e only listened to their title tracks from the past

 

Welcome to the fandom! smile.png I'll give you some of my favourites as well, from all albums: Kissing You, Tears, Chocolate Love, Way to Go!, Star Star Star, Mistake, Wake Up, Trick, Oscar, Top Secret, Baby Maybe, Europa, Goodbye, Wait a Minute, Talk Talk (from Lion Heart), Check and Bump It <3 And from Japanese albums (though they're all worth listening!) I'd say Let It Rain, Animal, I'm A Diamond, Not Alone, Lips, Karma Butterfly, Motorcycle, Gossip Girls smile.png

No, I don't think that's it...

there's this thing that continuous streamers do that has been working ever since Youtube became extremely strict on the view counts:

 

for Soshis or other fans trying to support SNSD, here's how you can increase their view count on Youtube:

 

1) For the 1st time, you must watch the MV for at least 30 seconds for the view to count

 

2) Every other time after the 1st watch, you have to set the MV at at least 50% volume on your PC/device & Youtube volume, at least 50% your device "screen", and at least 720 p (HD) -> for the following views to count

 

^ each time you watch the video, don't click the replay button, go back to the youtube homepage and search SNSD's songs but make sure there's a 30 sec break in between (unless you are alternating between the 2 MVs)

 

3) ***after the 10th time listening to the MV, clear your Youtube history and browsing history on your PC (that's why it's best to not even sign in your Youtube account)

 

this is a lot of work, but that's how continuous streamers of other fandoms are doing to get their views to count on Youtube nowadays... it's just up to you if you really want to support SNSD and put a little more effort (like how other fans would it do for their idols)

 

If that's true then I'm screwed, my laptop is too slow to work properly with 720p on youtube unsure.png

 

But yes, I heard that alternating between videos works - that's what we did with streaming BP's MVs.

It had to take a week break from OH!, so I just read the news about girls ending promotions soon and I'm really sad ohdearplz.png

I have really mixed feelings about it, because I have a feeling it's something more than Yuri's ankle. I remember when some of the girls had health problems before and it didn't stop promotions.

 

It just feels to me like the promotions ended before they started for good. And it's their 10th anniversary, but everything feel so short to me, like they couldn't properly celebrate. If they couldn't keep on performing on music shows, I wish the girls could've at least appear in more variety and on radio, etc.

 

I hope that there isn't anything serious going on behind the scenes that we don't know of and that made SM decide to do this. I guess we'll see in some time.

I'm really worried too :( First the promotions were so short without any explanation, then all of this is happening.

 

I'm confused what reason SM would have to treat one of their biggest groups on their anniversary like that. As a fan, I'm so disappointed because we should be still celebrating with the girls instead of worrying.

 

But whatever the girls decide, even if some of the decide that it's better for them to not re-sign, I will support them. They've given us 10 great years and if they think they want to do something different with their lives now, it's their decision.

 

I just hope (though it's probably hopeless) that we'll get some explanation of what is happening right now. Being in the dark about  everything, why the promotions were so short, why it seems like someone is actually sabotaging SNSD in the media, it's the worst feeling.

Also, I'm reading some tweets right now and I begin to think - what kind of company would SM be if they really did want to turn us against the girls? Is money all that's important to them, more important then their employees? (who, by the way, have brought a good deal of money into the company in the last years)

 

I've never seen something like this happening but it's ridiculous to me that a company would try to pressurize their employees that way. I wouldn't blame the girls if they wanted to leave it, then.
