I don't think carlos is drunk, more like torn.

 

I know many fans who stan several groups. Like some who stan EXO and SHINee and SNSD.

On one hand, they know SNSD has both a huge fandom and public support, and they know SNSD has the upper hand if SM were to play fair and give all groups equal attention. 

They also know that SNSD has stellar sales and also do well in almost every aspect of Kpop entertainment, and therefore deserve to be nominated in awards.

 

But on the other, stanning male groups also means, they know their Oppas have many fangirls, but lack public support and digital sales and in many ways, cannot win overall compared to Soshi. 

So if they want their oppas to win some awards, they know SNSD has to be put on the backburner or be focused less if the guys are to have any chance, not to mention competition from the other companies. 

 

So they are happy to see the male groups nominated, they are also disappointed to know that SNSD is sort of , giving way or SM has to water-down their promotions to allow the male groups some chance.

 

So, they have to justify the situation by this logic,:

 

SNSD had SM focusing on them before that is how they managed to win so many things years ago,

so its time for them to step back and give the guys a chance, just like when SM had the guys step back to allow for SNSD several years ago.

Its fair, so don't complain, becos many of the boy group fans were feeling the same as you before.

Its a complicated kinda mentality, to justify their love and support for multiple groups.

 

Of course, I personally feel that in a massive fangirl-based, traditionally male-group dominated industry, SNSD success had nothing to do with SM not focusing on the guys or having them step back to allow Soshi to win. SM never expected Soshi to achieve so much and grow to such levels, they never expected a girl group to actually beat the guys by such a huge margin, nor for such an extended amount of time.

SNSD won awards and public support and achieved their success in a handicapped situation. 

 

Now SM has to handicap them girls to give the guys a chance.

Not fair if you ask me. Of course I know whining and complaining won't change anything. But I just wanna make my thoughts clear.

The PV's great. Contrary to what most said, I don't see any cuteness in the song, especially now with the PV released. It just a cheerful, bright song instead of a dark, mature concept that everyone dreamed of.

It's a good song. I would rate it just a little under Galaxy Supernova.

There's people talking about how Tiffany is worse than Seohyun, Sunny, Jessica, Taeyeon. More capable singer, better dancer etc. etc.

Yeah 'constructive criticism'. Guess what, nobody cares about your 'constructive criticism'. If you don't like what Tiffany does and think someone's higher than her, you can keep your opinions to yourself, cause your 'constructive criticism', whether it's true or not, will still hurt someone's feelings, and be seen as hates especially to the biased ones.

Who's better, who's not. These kind of topics are meant to be discussed in another place. This place is for appreciating and sharing SNSD's news and updates. Discussions are of course welcomed, but these kind of topics are very sensitive and can lead to numerous fanwars. Some may be able to take the opinions, but in a huge community like this, there must be others that are unable to accept it. This is how the society works. Why is racism an avoided and banned topic? Because whatever you constructively criticised will cause hate whether it's true or not.

From now on I'm just gonna put anyone who gives 'constructive criticism in this thread on ignore list.

I was the one who scolded Carlos off the thread last time, but TBH his words makes so much sense now (but he was still too much so I don't take back what I said).
