So here's what happened: I was walking out of a McDonald's in Duomo and saw a car pull up. I recognize someone wearing a familiar hat in the car (it was Tiffany, wearing the hat she took a selfie with in Switzerland) so I immediately knew it was her.

 

Lets be real, if you  are in Europe, why would you go to McDonalds for food.

If you were famous, why would you get out the car to do it when you have managers.

If you were famous, chances are windows of your transportation are blacked out.

As evidenced time and time again, the girls at least wait a few hours, if not days, before posting on instagram etc.

 

The story makes no sense, is full of discrepancies and regardless, I am 100% for Yuri being a bitch because she is ethereal and can pull it off. I am ready for this new found inner HBIC to translate to her Instagram comments.

people suddenly get hungry in an unfamiliar place, they go to what they recognize. for most people, mcdonalds. not like it's above yulti's palette.

and the girls do shit for themselves all the time, it's not like there were mobs that managers needed to be sent to order in place

 

Yes, they are nobodies in Europe. However, they are managed the same way wherever they go and a lot of what has been said is completely out of character for their managers.

its January 22 already, which means its been exactly one month since the girls revealed this "teaser" and we still know nothing about their comeback

imo we shouldn't expect anything until tvxq is close to wrapping up their promotions. sm for sure won't let them overlap with snsd.  they also just started winning awards last week so right now they are on a roll.  I say they'll probably end sometime early to mid Feb.  So I'm not expecting any news/teasers until then.

 

I'm relatively confident that music show awards are at the bottom of the list of things SM hope to achieve with comebacks. These are nothing more than mere fan trophies, even more so at this point in TVXQ's careers, also coupled with the declining influence and viewership of music shows.

Not at all. Music show awards are much more important than that.

 

Not just because music show wins gives lots of good PR, but because music show wins show your status for people looking to higher acts as CF models or to perform at events/festivals.

 

Likewise, there are plenty of other factors which would indicate this status which would be just as useful. A trip to Gaon's website would tell you which acts are resonating with the public and who has a significant fanbase etc

'Grown Woman' was a song Beyonce made, or likely stole, and previewed in one of her Pepsi commercials during early-mid 2013. She then released nothing at all for months with little-to-no sign of progression in album production or a coming release date. Then in December, as everyone knows, she released her self-titled album 'BEYONCÉ' out of the blue (no pun intended) after a long period of no news. I was making a comparison with SNSD and how they previewed new material/hinted towards a coming release and seemingly failed to follow through.

 

Pop culture was in art now, art in pop culture in me.

I would be content with SM acknowledging other members of SNSD, aside from TTS, in the context of a subunit, whether that be the peoples' subunit, the dancing wall you can't climb over; SHY or alternatively, JYS. I would want them to focus on a combination of vocals and visuals, something that each of the three of them can contribute to.

The diamond and the color reminds me of The Boys... I hope is back to fierce styling and overall badassness

I am more concerned about the quality of the album more than anything. I get that SM are pandering to a fanbase stuck in 2007 but the Korean fanbase have shown they will support whatever SNSD output so something a bit more edgy would be much appreciated. SNSD, their 'Pink Tape' is coming.

btw she first said it in an interview for a magazine which is where that account got the info so they didn't just make it up. But we don't know what it was for or if we'll ever hear it. It could have even been for the English album since it was still planned to happen at that time

 

Wherever it came from, it was unwanted news. There is a reason why nobody else is touching that girl's music or why the cuts she kept aren't going anywhere. They should go back to the Bloodshy&Avant back catalogue and snap up another 'Toxic'/'Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex' demo like they did with 'Chocolate Love'.

I'm getting so tired of this. Just let SNSD go and sign with another company if you can't even promote them properly. 

 

Everyone knows I am the first person to bad mouth SNSD's management in every area, however, no other label can manage like SNSD in almost every regard. 

 

However, we all better start praying to Godney that during any recent/ongoing/forthcoming contract negotiations that the girls used/are using/used some business savvy to further themselves as a group and individuals. 

 

Still waiting for SNSD to create their own imprint label within SM, the tentatively titled SMSD would be appropriate (lemme' copyright this), whereby they would be placed at helm of there creative decisions and aided by SM. Scheduling, contractual malarkey and whatnot would be handled by SM but it would give the girls a dictatorial role over their careers, at least an increased role while, as owners of the imprint, they would get more profit. In the best cased scenario, Tiffany might actually be motivated to move ha' legs too if she is making more money and dancing to a song, in a music video, that she had a say over, possibly contributing lyrics, etc.
