SNSD Wants to Last As Long as Shinhwa

 

Seeing that the senior group has stayed together for so long, Girls’ Generation members agreed that they would like to be like Shinhwa.

On March 11, SNSD′s Sooyoung, Yoona, and Hyoyeon appeared as guests on MBC FM4U’s Two O’clock Date, where DJ Park Kyung Lim asked the members how long they believed SNSD would last.

 

 

“It’s already been eight years since SNSD’s lived. We get asked a lot if we wonder how long SNSD would last. We actually think about it a lot. It’s been our goal since a while ago. Our goal is to become a long-lasting group like Shinhwa,†answered Hyoyeon.

“I checked recently, and Shinhwa will celebrate its 16th anniversary. For now, that long is our goal, and we believe it’s possible,†continued Hyoyeon.

 

Sooyoung then pitched in, “Shinhwa doesn’t release an album every year. Even if they don’t have an album, they put on a concert for their fans, and I like that. We also want to release albums as much as we can, but when things get busy, we would like to at least put on concerts instead.â€

SNSD was Annoyed to Re-Film ‘Mr.Mr’ MV

 

After unforeseen issues with data corruption, Girls’ Generation was forced to re-film certain scenes in the music video for Mr.Mr and no one was entirely happy about it.

 

 

On March 11, Yoona, Hyoyeon, and Sooyoung appeared on MBC FM4U’s Two O’clock Date as guests, where DJ Park Kyung Lim asked about the Mr.Mr music video and re-shooting of it.

She asked who was most annoyed with the re-filming, to which the girls replied, “The person isn’t here at the moment, so we can’t answer for her.â€

They later admitted that all the members were pretty annoyed with the situation.

“We prepared since the early morning and danced all day to film,†said Hyoyeon. “We filmed gritting our teeth. It made sense that everyone was annoyed.â€

But Sooyoung expressed the most anguish about the re-filming, saying, “I did most of the re-filming, but in the music video, none of the scenes really made it.â€

The music video currently has more than 9 million views.

Sooyoung, Yoona, and Hyoyeon were on MBC FM4U’s ‘2’o clock date with Park Kyunglim’ on the 11th.

The MC asked the girls, “When they said you had to re-shoot the MV, who was the most angry?†Sooyoung answered, “That member isn’t here right now, so it’s hard to answer.â€

Hyoyeon said, “Honestly, everybody was mad. We had to shoot the group dance early in the morning, all day long.†Sooyoung continued, “I re-shot the most scenes, but I came up the least in the music video. Not a single cut of me made it.â€
