Omg Tiffany singing "Almost Is Never Enough" <333 I love that song so much. She did amazing. Tiffany tends to over sing sometimes so I wasn't sure how she was going to handle that song but she did so so great. The song actually suited her voice a lot.

her voice colour yes, but the song was butchering her vocal chords. She couldn't get all the high belts and had to switch to falsetto often, and I could tell she was having quite difficulty in actually most of the high notes, except for in the beginning she did fine. This is going to damage her voice. I actually feel worried for Tiffany.

That was one of the things I was concerned about was all the ridiculous high notes in the song. I wasn't sure how she was going to handle it. But I think she did well considering it's actually a very difficult song to sing with difficult high notes to hit. But yes the beginning verse/chorus was better than the last chorus. It was really beautiful.

I am tired of people always repeating the same thing, nobody can say he/she likes the way Tiffany

sings because there is always someone who say "should have went to Jessica or Taeyeon" because

they "sing better". And please, spare me the "I am worried about her voice" because this comment

becomes false when everytime there is always someone who is underrating all Tiffany's efforts.

 

Like when she was casted for Fashion King and everyone was "why not Jessica or Sooyoung?" nobody

has watched the show but the majority doesn't want to give her an opportunity and is always Tiffany that

receives this comments because I didn't read any comment from "Sones" saying why Seohyun for a drama?

why not Yoona she is a better actress; or Yuri singing for OST? why not ask Taeyeon or Jessica to sing

for the movie?

the difference is, Yuri's role was a lead and in a movie and she is already experienced, that's why no other members got it. No one was nagging about seohyun because it was a short term role in a drama which was a good start. Yuri sand the OST because that's her context in the movie. A singer and plus the song wasn't vocally challenging at all, intact it was basic. Its not like were not praising Tiffany at all, like I said, her vocal colour suited it well and the beginning was beautiful because it was somewhat closer to her comfort range, however the rest of the song was going into C#5s or Eb5 to F#5 which is wayyy off tiffany's comfort range. The song was very much vocally challenging so you can't compare that with Yuri's OST.

 

tbh, if the song did bit go any higher than C5/C#5 I wouldn't be complaining. Plus objectively she was struggling through half of the song, but that doesn't mean I didn't like her singing in the song, stfu if you're gonna keep miscalling out people for hating on her voice. It was constructive, not hate. And if she keeps strangling those really high notes she's gonna seriously ruin her voice. We want her chords to stay healthy for further development. Take Jessica for example , she doesn't sing normally higher than a C5/C#5 yet because she's staying to develop into her comfort range/belts instead of rushing too high, she's developed enough to achieve vocal freedom. Also, Jessica and Taeyeon are the only members who do not die on those upper notes

my evaluation is not out of subjectivity. There's no bias in the fact that Jessica has better ease in high notes and that Tiffany has more ease in lower notes. The fact that u think I'm not being constructive shows how delulu you are, if you want to keep going. Lets go.

 

the point is SNSD is involved, yes you can always choose someone better as there are some vocalists better than Taeyeon, but you're gonna use someone from SNSD, at least use someone whose gonna do the job better rather than struggling in being able to do it. I'm going to repeat myself. I wouldn't be saying the same criticism if Tiffany was singing something more in her comfort range.

Some dont agree with  Jessica outfit for No Breathing VIP premier...to me she has worn that outfit because of Yuri. That day was Yuri's day. All the attention should go to Yuri...wearing a very sexy dress will make some forget Yuri movie..

Change is good but Genie should always somehow be incorporated even if its cut short.

no ones being shady. Were directly pointing out our opinions. I did enjoy her performance tvym. I didn't say that I didn't like her voice. I do like her voice. But that song was just over what she is capable of doing. Are you kidding me?all four of them get criticized for their sub par vocals constantly even by sones itself. Just because we say so doesn't make us less of a sone than anyone. Taeyeon get criticized sometimes for her sub par dancing. Jessica gets criticized constantly even by maomaos and sones for her laziness. Seohyun gets criticized for her sometimes lack of emotion or stage presence. Everyone has critiqued all of those members acting but we still enjoy their performances. Its not about enjoying them without noticing their flaws, because nobody is perfect.
