omg. my favorite sunny outfit this year. nvm i thought it was a one piece shirt dress it's not lol but she still looks amazing.

 

for hair i was really liking tiffany's black/red long hair and honestly when she posted that selca with new hair i thought she was posting an old selca bc she's had shades of auburn hair very frequently so i would have preferred her red/black but she still looks good

 

also i don't really like taeyeon's bangs i liked them circa 2008-2010 but these bangs aren't as flattering. everyone else's hair i am satisfied with atm but it'd be fun is yoona went back to black hair she's had light hair since The Boys in 2011 i think?

This are the reasons why I think they are also having their Korean Comeback SOON

 

1. The JP PV was filmed already (before Sica went to Dark hair and also Sunny) so they cant change their looks for a PV who was already filmed

(I think that PV will be released very soon) They never change of hairstyles just for a JP release, its something they always do for a KR Comeback.

 

2. Leaker Sooyoung said on SIA the girls will be back soon with good music and good performances. Why would leaker Choi say something like this in a KOREAN event if she is talking about a JP release?

 

3. The poses with the fingers Yoong, Sunny and also Fany made are a sign of something, SOSHI TROLLS anyone?

 

4.Taengoo instagram UPDATE (blur lyrics) what she wrote there was in KOREAN.

 

5. Fany said on that US interview TTS is coming back next year and also she said on ALLURE SNSD is coming back this fall.

 

So, when for English Album?

It's probably the best hear colouring Tiffany's ever had. It actually give her natural black a run for it's money.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that "soon" in kpop could be anywhere from a week to three months to never. They always say soon, no matter when something is, so that means nothing. Not to mention the fact that SM is notorious for pushing things back. Plus, the lyrics sheet Taeyeon posted could have nothing to do with any comebacks. Maybe it was for the song they're doing for that video game.

 

Basically, nothing is a sure thing right now. The only things we know for sure are their Japanese activities: Tokyo performance on Nov 4 and the 3rd Japanese album on Dec 11. Anything other than that is speculation, we'll just have to wait and see. After what Onion said about having to wait a while for a K-comeback, I'm thinking it won't be until 2014. But who knows, something could change, this is SM we're talking about.

 

Also...when Sooyoung said "we" it could mean a new subunit that she is in and not OT9. Just saying *delulu mode on*   

 

that's weird though, because their japanese songs are usually more mature and catchy than the korean ones. i mean look at "the great escape", "beautiful stranger" "reflection", "t.o.p", "animal". not to mention the title tracks, "mr taxi", "flower power", "galaxy supernova", "paparazzi". i don't understand why some kpop fans say that their japanese songs are full of cuteness and stuff like that, i mean wth? i can only think of 3 cute japanese songs so far: "beep beep". "girls & peace" and "do the catwalk".

 

"love & girls" and "lingua franca" can't be even considered cute, imo

that's a bit exaggerated, they haven't been promoting their album-less singles (previously Love and Girls and Galaxy Supernova).

 

but they DID actually do promotions (including going on Japanese music programs, which is the primary promotional complaint ppl have been throwing at them) for Papparazzi and Oh!/All My Love Is For You, which were the main 2 singles they promoted off their 2nd album (Flower Power kind of got neglected no matter how you look at it, complete with a LE-only physical release in a market that's still over 80% physical sales).

 

so who knows, but based on track record they'll probably being doing more promotion, possibly even JP music program appearances, for My Oh My.  and iirc, they've always done end of year events in Japan since they debuted there, which would line up with a Dec 11th release date.

 

When people say promotions, they mean promoting the album as a whole, not promoting singles. They didn't promote the 2nd Japanese album at all when it came out, they just released it and then went straight into preparations for IGAB and the tour. They didn't release a repackage or promote the album during the Japan tour either. The only thing that can be considered promotion I remember seeing was a radio show that talked about the deluxe edition. (I also remember some kind of album mashup at an event or something? I can't even remember what or where that was.) Did they do any actual appearances specifically for the album? I know they did like two live performances when Flower Power came out to promote the single but that's all I can think of. As for end of year events...did they attend any in Japan? All I remember is a few of the girls were MCs for award shows in Korea and TTS attended something.

 

They didn't do any music shows (except Music Dragon and that didn't even count imo since it was just some girl reciting the lyrics) for Galaxy Supernova or Love & Girls, so I'm not optimistic about 3rd Japanese album promotions. They still have a great fanbase in Japan, but they need love from the general public (like they had in 2011) to stay competitive with J-pop artists. The general public can't buy an album if they don't even know it's out, no matter how many promotions you do months in advance for a single. Mess.

 

you guys, what if 1 stands for January?

with OT mentioning that the Korean comeback won't be for a while, it got me thinking that the cb may not even be in 2013.
