WoW. so many good things in 1 day. Yoona in drama, Yuri's movie and amazing OST, YoonSicSeo in thailand (them lucky fans), Youtube awards thingy, and a Possible Korean (i'm crossing all my fingers) comeback.

 

 

I always thought that ALL the girls can sing beautifully all they need is a chance and opportunity to show it off. It doesn't follow that if you sing 4-6 seconds in a song, you are a bad singer. Now i really wish they have solo stages in their "World Tour".

I seriously cant get over Yuri's songs. Sure she's no Taeyeon but that is a prime example of a how given the right song, anyone can sound really nice.

About Taeyeons IG pic (sure, "broken" camera ), from the loks of the left column, Im assuming theyre the names of the person singing. Hard to make out but it looks like theres 3 names that are being repeated over and over (a long, medium and short name). Could of course be all the girl's names but to me the characters look the same, especially on the long name, which could be Fany or Jessica but the long name takes up a LOT of the song, JeTi normally dont take up that much of a song on their own. Hence after my scientific analysis, Im guessing, for now, its TTS comeback.

 

While I think everybody would've loved a full 9 comeback, I for one would still love a TTS comeback.

I think the reasoning is that Yuri doesn't have enough name recognition on her own in singing

outside of SNSD, like say Taeyeon. So, it's about whether people will be interested enough

to listen and download the song. And I don't know how much fans/sones can do. Tiffany and Jessica

are fan favorites but their OSTs never quite reach Taeyeon's level of success.

 

I think it's a waiting game though. If the movie does well, people may be tempted to go back and 

listen to the OST. I hope it's successful

An OST for a drama might be played several times in each episode for 20 episodes, + re-runs of the episodes + teasers and trailers for the drama.

 

And tell me if you see any rock-ish songs charting good on Korean charts.

You're right, I was thinking of this in terms of OSTs in general. 

Did Mr. Go do well? Maybe a successful movie can help an OST's popularity... 

Idk, I'm just happy they chose a song that fits Yuri's voice well.

I'm a casual SNSD fan. I was watching a concert online of them in Japan a few days ago and was blown away by the song Reflection. Why was this not a single anywhere ? 

 

Express 999 gets props for a song which should have been a single but this is even crazier. I think Korea would have loved Reflection even with all its English.
