Girls’ Generation’s ‘I Got A Boy’ nominated for ‘Video of the Year’ in YouTube Music Awards!

 

 
The first ever YouTube Music Awards will be held in New York City on Sunday, November 3rd. Girls’ Generation is the only Kpop group to receive a nomination in the global awards event alongside fellow South Korean PSY, whose songs ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’ went viral worldwide.

 

 

 

Girls’ Generation’s ‘I Got A Boy’ music video is nominated in the ‘Video of the Year’ award with big names such as Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Beauty And A Beat’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Applause’, Miley Cyrus’ ‘We Can’t Stop’, One Direction’s ‘Best Song Ever’, PSY’s ‘Gentleman’ and more. The ‘Video of the Year’ award is created to honour the world’s most loved music videos and the nominated videos are some of the videos with the highest fan engagement in YouTube in the last 12 months including views, likes, shares, comments and subscriptions.

Besides, the ‘Video of the Year’ award, the YouTube Music Awards will also give out awards for ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Response of the Year’, ‘YouTube Phenomenon’, ‘YouTube Breakthrough’ and ‘Innovation’. But seriously, even being nominated with all those big names is a massive achievement, from a relatively obscure genre of music to hanging out with the big boys (and no offence to PSY, but SNSD did it without having a mega viral song). Damn awesome.

 

Vote Sones. It would be seriously cool if other kpop fans worked together and vote too like they supposedly did for Big Bang during EMAs, especially as its the group thats the face of Kpop.

Jessica has osts,but the only one I know is 'the one like you'..you can search also 'my lifestyle','one year later' (with onew), 'caramel coffe' (with Tiffany),her solos during the concerts like 'barbie girl' and 'almost' and, as I said before ,she has other osts,but I don't know them...for snsd songs..there are so many songs I like it's a bit difficult tell you all the titles..mmm...   try to watch their concerts:

- snsd- the 1st asia tour into the new world 2010 (disc 1) and (disc 2)

- snsd 1st japan tour (if you want to see the solos you have to search 'snsd 2nd tour in seoul',but 2 or 3 songs are different from the japanese one)

there's also their last tour,but the 2 above are better in my opinion

i haven't got around to listening to a lot (you can recommend me some good songs   )

 

but i actually like all the non-title tracks of i got a boy

and some that i just end up listening to on youtube but never got around to downloading or remembering the names of the song lol

 Though the TTS album is my fave where i love every single song <3 even the title track

I just found out, that the writers of Prime Minister and I are the same who wrote Winter Sonata.

I haven't watched winter sonanta, when I see thumbnails of it, the dated clothing and hair puts me off even though I know it's a classic. Hopefully Yoona's drama will also be a classic and take her acting career to movie A-lister.

Both of Yuri's songs sond amazing omg  I'm so proud of her. And people that questioned her skills as a vocalist can suck it. Sure, she's no Taeyeon but she can carry a song very nicely.

And Taeyeon teasing us about the album! I know we already knew it was gonna happen, but now it feels so close. Best case scenario for me. First TTS (or any other subunit) mini album immediately followed by a full SNSD album.

 

And please share the YT video. If they win this award it could help them so much gain recognition, especially now that they up against such big names.
