[ARTICLE] Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Seo In Guk, and Lee Jong Suk to Travel Overseas for International Promotions of ‘No Breathing’

 

The cast of No Breathing will head overseas next month to promote the movie in its international release.

 

Starring Seo In Guk, Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation member Yuri, No Breathing is a sports drama that follows the story of two young, talented swimmers. It was loosely based on the life of inspirational South Korean Olympian Park Tae Hwan.

 

The film opened in South Korea on October 30, and despite having a disappointing turnout (only about 400,000 tickets sold in the first two weeks) in the local theaters, has attracted a lot of attention from fans abroad.

 

No Breathing is scheduled for release in Singapore (December 5), Hong Kong (December 12), Taiwan (December 13), and Vietnam (December 28).

 

According to 9ners Entertainment, the film’s distributor, the film is getting a lot of buzz from overseas because of the popularity of its lead actors who are all rising stars in the Korean entertainment industry.

 

While the exact promotions schedule is still being decided on, the three main stars will travel to Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

The behind scene for KBS new drama ‘Prime Minister & I’ teaser was revealed on the 24th. ‘Prime Minister & I’ is a drama about the comical and unexpected romance between a righteous and stubborn Prime Minister & a 20 plus year old young woman that he will be marrying. Playing the role of a passionate reporter Nam Da Jung, the still cuts revealed show YoonA wearing the safety helmet, her comical look provided alot of laughter when she started riding the motorcycle. Especially the fish-eye photo, YoonA’s confidence and interest attract alot of attention.

According to the drama staffs, a interesting thing happened during the filming which allows YoonA to properly ‘digest’ the techniques of riding a motorcycle. Before the filming starts, YoonA was practicing riding the motorcycle infront of the open area of a school. In order to catch a glimpse of YoonA, the male students all sticked their head out the windows chanting words like ‘Noona, look over here’. Ultimately it became like a ‘choir’ when one by one gathered over here chanting. Towards this scene, YoonA responded ‘Go back to class~ and study hard’ while waving to them which caused laughters. And because YoonA received alot of love and positive energy from the cheering of the students, she is able to properly ‘digest’ the techniques to ride the motorcycle.

 

The production team representative revealed that thanks to YoonA who is able to showcase ‘Nam Da Jung’s way of riding the motorcycle’, the filming is successfully concluded. Not only from the cheering of the male students, but also everyone who always give lot of support during filming, they are thankful and will repay the public with a warm and enjoyable drama.
