Yessssss, the previews are making me excited for TTS show. It's great to see Taeyeon laughing and joking around. I feel like MrMr promotions, the girls weren't very happy, they were almost dragging their feet through a lot of recordings. Love seeing them happy and natural again.

Ultimate Group episode for Soshi is out!!

Is there anyone keen on subbing it? I want to sub it but I don't have time to do it alone...

I'd be happy to help out. But I'd be worried that other people will get subs out faster than we can.

Err, I've been avoiding this thread because I was afraid it'd be a mess. And now I don't feel like backtracking like 100 pages. Can anyone tell me the general sentiments of the thread? It's been a complete mess outside of this thread and seems like sones have just self destructed by pointing fingers and unreasonably shifting all the blame to Taeyeon.

^^(Ress) The sentiments of this thread was firstly negative since everyone was in a state of shock and everyone was looking for answers which they cannot find. But it's changed now and everyone's mostly neutral about the whole thing. Most of the commenter's are talking about how they got to know Soshi. Also, we've been looking at more logical reasons on why these things happened. We can all agree that it was because of the schedule. That's kind of the jist.

from what I've gathered everybody seems fairly neutral. I bet a majority of the people blaming taeyeon are most likely taeyeon haters and not sones

Avoid the other threads. It's fucking messy there, I feel like killing someone everytime I open one of those. It's all good here tho

That's really nice to hear. It was really sad to see so many people turn on the members with literally 0 evidence. I was probably more shocked about that then actually finding out that Jessica got kicked out.

Thank you for finding the translation and yep this was what I saw first, so I was confused when Korean articles and users here posted the slightly diff. translation which brought about Taeyeon haters left and right.

It seems though whatever she does, she will be hated on. This has been happening since Baekyeon scandal now it has just accelerated ever more.

I don't know Korean, but someone was saying in another thread that you don't necessarily have to use pronouns in Korean. It's the same in Chinese. So that may be why there are some translations that say "I" while others say "we". If it's true, then Taeyeon didn't actually specify who is sorry for making sones suffer, and translators have to interpret her words in order to have it make sense when translated into English.

If it's really true, I don't know if I would want to support her anymore from now on.. I don't like what she's doing while the other members can't even speak up because of SM.

I partially agree with this. There's no need for this to turn dirty. SNSD is something she protected dearly for so long. And as much as the other members damaged that brand by kicking her out, she did too by publically and clearly pointing the blame to the other 8. It wasn't professional, and it shows that she doesn't seem to have much intention of reconciling or working things out any time soon.

Of course I can understand her side, but it's hard for me to personally still support her if things turn ugly. Although at the same time, I of course still wish the best for her personal endeavors. I just hope she's thought things through and can make things work out in her work and personal life. I felt similarly with Taeyeon over the Baekhyun scandal. It was unprofessional and not a smart decision. Everyone makes mistakes, and I can understand that. But it still changed the way I saw her.

If it's true about her emailing journalists, I hope she does it with the genuine intention of clarifying things, not leaving out important details or throwing other members under the bus.

Just saw the post referring to the girls as miss piggy, rat face, skeletor or something Jess emailing thread. Ughhh I swear some users here crueler than K-netz. I understand they are on Jess side but to say these things so frustrating.

Stormbreaker is hardly a sone. He's also has a thing against Taeny, especially Taeyeon for ages. I'm hoping he's just doing that to stir shit up and not that he actually believes that BS, because I know that he's actually capable of thinking logically. But then again his hatred for Taeyeon is pretty strong, so I'm not sure.

uhm, some one who is Korean translated the news, it's fake, don't point fingers at Jessica or any parties without doing any proper researchs

"Basically Jessica has been emailing news reporters, but she's been emailing them her official statement. That "letter" is the official statement... but of course you all are delusional and can't wait for the dirt on snsd to be exposed because that's definitely what Jessica is emailing them. yes."

Both Staysica Jung and I clearly said "if it's true". We didn't jump the gun to make conclusions and point fingers.

But I do define You as an hater, intrigant, ambigious and twofaced (as your alias says) planting seeds all the time.

I have followed SNSD since 2009, but now I feel grateful of the incident.

Now I can scrap all my news links, forum and 400GB of downloaded material.

I really belived in OT9!!!!!!!!!!

I really thougt they were special, but they are just ordinary humans... with all the ugly flaws that implies.

So sad, so sad..............................................

I have no idea what the person you're responding to has done, but if it makes you so happy to finally put down this burden you've been carrying so long by supporting SNSD, then by all means I'm happy for you too.

Of course the members are ordinary humans, and of course they have flaws. If you ever thought otherwise, you've truly been blind this entire time.

im sorry If it came out a little to harsh. But I felt that you and Staysica kinda expressed a lot of hatred just based on a simple "If it's true".

It's not hate, at least not from me and I'm pretty sure not from Staysica either. I still wish her the best no matter what happens. With everything so unclear and very little confirmed for absolute fact, you're bound to have to consider all aspects of the story under the premise of "if this is what happened".

ok, not hatred, but your post made me feel like you had already chose your side.

Of course based off of what is circulating, I can form my own opinion of what happened. I'm just clear on what degree my conclusions have any actual bearing and how much is based on anything concrete, which for every single one of us is very very little.

And it's not as simple as "choosing a side". I have an opinion, but no I haven't "chosen a side". This is a complicated issue, and I think we'll never know all the details. I think both sides have their reasons for doing what they did, and I can understand that. At the same time, I think both sides could've handled the situation better, but again I understand that they are capable of imperfections. Finally, I don't know the full details so this is only my opinion based off of what has happened so far. What I personally feel sure of though, is that no one wanted things to turn out this way. Both sides have hurt each other, and both sides are also hurt themselves. It's a whole lot of hurt, and most of all I just hope that some day their personal relationship can be reconciled.

You know what I actually find funny? I decided to go check out what oniontaker's been saying about this whole mess. And some of the people who've been accusing oniontaker for loving to stir shit, loving the attention, and loving to pretend like he knows what's going on, are the very people doing those exact things now. Meanwhile oniontaker? Admits that he doesn't know the full details, tells us to keep our ears open for more info, don't jump to conclusions, don't buy into propaganda, and always believe in the girls. Could not be any more clear at this moment in time which side is more level headed, more reasonable, and better fans. Hope that clears up any future confusion, but I know people will just continue to bandwagon hate and bandwagon worship the guy.

I'm actually thankful that I've found another bias in my country. It lessens the emotional roller coaster that I'm feeling at the moment. I don't think I can take it if snsd were my only bias. I'd be too sad to see all these things thats happening

Actually same. Luckily I recently got into another group and the timing could not have been more perfect. Plus the warning signs before this mess started gave me enough of a heads up to prepare for the possibility, so I wasn't completely blindsided. As much as people hated OT and other "insider sones" at the time, if they hadn't dropped those hints, I definitely would be a lot worse off atm.

Something doesn't really add up. Why was oniontaker so certain about Jess leaving when they were still "negotiating" and talking about her position in SNSD? Iirc, he posted stuff about OT8 a few months before this mess...

Doesn't that mean they all knew about this way before? Or was everyone in the know except Jess? (since she's posting stuff about being suddenly informed, etc etc)

But then nothing adds up, lol

Oniontaker talked about a member leaving for months, then he suddenly said something changed and that member would continue with the group (this actually fits with SM statement). He didn't predict that something was suddenly changing again (this goes in favour of Jessica tbh).

There are many things that continue to be unknown, and I'm sure both parts didn't say all the truth (as much as I trust Jessica, even her statement leaves many questions without an answer).

Agreed. Even if plans changed once again, there seems to have been enough buildup that the decision shouldn't have been as shocking as Jessica's weibo post sounded. I think OT's first post about this was back in May. And he recently tweeted that since Feb, this had already been an issue. My guess is that Feb is when Jessica first brought up leaving the group. No one's going to tell the full truth in an unbiased manner, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to find out how things really went down. Plus I would much rather them solve things in private out of the public eye. I'll just put my faith in the girls that they didn't want it to have happened this way, and that all of them tried to do what was best for all 9 of them.

Tbh I only skimmed this. But I agree with the gist. Even though it's such a mess right now, I still believe the girls genuinely care for each other, otherwise they wouldn't be so hurt. People were so quick to turn on OT9 and throw soshibond down the drain. Maybe things are messed up now, but it doesn't mean that everything was an absolute lie before, or that things can never improve. Of course things weren't as picture perfect as they seemed in public, but neither do I believe that things are as cold and business oriented as people are saying now. People might say this opinion is delusional, but I think they're much more naive to believe things have to be either one end or the complete opposite end. There's something called the middle that is much more often the case in the real world.

@Hess

I'm glad I was a little prepared though I did not expect that this would happen. It's sad because I wanted them to end perfectly. But we can't do anything now but accept what's happened. I'll still support them no matter what. I loved Soshi because I met them at a time where I was depressed and I needed someone to pull me out of my misery. Now that they're experiencing this, I'll make sure that I'll be there to support them coz that's what they need right now - to know that someone *like me* will be there for them.

Yeah, things shouldn't have turned out this way. And I think it could've absolutely been avoided. But well...nothing can be done about that now. Hope they can work through things and know that people are cheering for their happiness, whatever that means to each member.

Understandable, as it is very long because I covered multiple things. That's why I put certain parts in bold, to help others know what I'm covering without having to waste their time if they already know. Just like that.  :)

With so many stupid comments and theories floating all over the internet, it's hard to know if something is worth reading or if it's going to be a waste of time.

Haha, the bolding was very much appreciated. I didn't skim because I thought your post might be stupid or a waste of time, I just didn't feel like reading that much lol.

Ah, yes, I actually figured that. I didn't think you skipped over some stuff because you thought it was stupid. I think I just worded things a bit wrong in that last post and my train of thought isn't presented well. Sorry about that, but no problem though.

EDIT: A clearer explanation is I meant that part as my reasoning for making things bold and not intending to mean your reason for skipping was that you might have thought it was stupid. (lol... still.not explaining well. I think I've actually overworked my brain and need to rest from thinking, so k-drama time!)

No worries, I get where you're coming from~

I'm going to be honest and say I agree with this person tbh.

I think everyone's emotions are running high. Maybe that's what she intended when she made the post who knows. But I think she should've waited longer to let things sink in. Her feelings and her frustrations probably took over in the moment. It was probably only a couple hours since she found out that she made that post. I don't think she thought it through all the way.

I'm saying the manner in which they kicked her out tells you a lot about the situation tbh. Why didn't they consult with her? Why make the decision when she was out of the country? Basic things like this just screams that they could've handled it better.

I agree with this. It didn't have to be like this. And Jessica didn't have to react the way she did either. Why make it public? Why not contact SM and the members in private to see if things can be fixed? Seems like neither sides handled the situation perfectly. I might be disappointed in how things turned out, but they're only human after all.

It really amazes me when not too long ago, Taeyeon was the most beloved member among fans and now she is the punching bag for all OT9 fans to vent their frustration.

Come on now, people. What the hell did she do ??

THIS. Had this exact thought earlier. Funny how quickly people can change their minds.

How do you know it already start since Feb? They were still very supportive to each other after Blanc launched in August, celebrated each other's birthdays, promote the others thru SNS. I dont see any signs really. The news hit the whole fandom like a train. Why suddenly change 180?

I don't know to what degree you trust "insider sones", but they had posted hints back in May which had been a reason for the rumors of an SNSD member leaving. Also, one of them, oniontaker, recently posted that back in February the issue had already started and it was only known within SM and SNSD at that point. Honestly it's more believable that issues have been going on for months. Even in SM's official statement, they wrote "However, in the midst of insufficient negotiations regarding conflicts of differences in priorities and interest, Jessica started her fashion business. Due to this, despite ongoing talks, it has come to a point where the team could not be maintained." Basically they're saying things weren't completely cleared and figured out before Jessica launched her company. It goes against what Jessica said, that everything was given the green light and it was all smooth sailing until 1 month after BLANC launched.

As for not having been able to see any signs from the girls, they're professionals after all. No need to show internal issues to the fandom or the public when they're still negotiating, they had an image to maintain after all.

I see, thanks. Wow, they are very good at keeping it professional. Sigh. I checked those famous Sones' Twitter, they hinted something about another member about to leave. Get ready for another heartbreak.

Really? I only know that oniontaker said that he didn't have knowledge of any such thing, and only knew about Jessica.

Doongie is a another famous sone.

https://mobile.twitter.com/samuelrocks/status/516789449611440129

Samuel, he is actually the 1st one hinted about a member leaving.

https://mobile.twitter.com/samuelrocks/status/516827146942021633

Onion, his msg is kinda vague like always tho.

https://mobile.twitter.com/oniontaker/status/516837704496349184

Wow. This is such a mess. Oniontaker's tweet though is probably not about another member leaving since nothing happened the next day, and he also already directly said that he didn't know anything about a 2nd member.

Samuel and Doongie though...sigh. Can only hope for the best. And at least I'll be better emotionally prepared if things turn out for the worst. Just curious, anyone know Doongie's bias?

Yeah, Jessica needs all the luck she can get right now. Too much, too fast, too little thought for the long term.

Apologies for people trying to move on and put this mess behind, but something I just noticed. Do you guys remember oniontaker's tweet about something trying to force Jessica out? Well if you check the time stamp, that was back in early August. Yet more confirmation that things were rocky during or before BLANC's launch. It can't be possible for Jessica to have thought things were smooth sailing up until 1 month into BLANC's opening. Well, anything's possible, but it doesn't seem very likely.
