With the possibility of delays I guess the only thing to look forward to is SMA for now. What are the criterions and their weightings for daesangs (artist, digital, album)? And do you think Soshi have a shot at winning one?

 

I personally think their strongest chance may be artist of the year since it encompasses album+digital+judges+whole other random stuff (you can more or less figure out the other 2 winners lol), but I'm not gonna hold my breath on it...

I see that the theories for the next album have started already, with diamonds and "Mr Mr" being the main focus at this point. This pic, combines them both:

 

 

So allow me to do my own analysis:

 

First, here is a representation of diamond's chemical structure, otherwise known as a giant covalent structure (yeah boi, we're doing a proper analysis innit):

 

 

It's a basic repeating structure made from an atom having 4 bonds in a 3D plane. The most common element a diamond is made up of is of course carbon (carbon atoms can be in other arrangements which can lead to things like graphite or carbon nano-tubes, but that's not important here). But carbon isn't the only element with the property to have 4 stable bonds that can form a giant covalent structure, so can.....

And second, there's some slight evidence that the teasers final.....image...could be read as Mr Mr or even Mv Mv or something else entirely. Whatever the word is or is supposed to be, I think it's at least obvious to everyone that the image is created from a cardiograph output. Since a beating heart is obviously a sign of life, many people attribute something being alive as having a......

1st. Dayum Fany totally owned that song. She sang really well. I dunno if its me but she and Ariana have a very similar voice, just Ariana's is technically better, thats probably a reason why she sounded nice. I've always said that Fany should sing more English pop songs, she always impresses with those! Fuck the judges for eliminating Fany

Hey guys,

All this lack of Soshi news and empty speculation/promises of comeback dates has meant that I haven't really been paying attention to them or this thread fro the last couple weeks and occasionally writing some funny and some very crude stuff on the ghost town that is sone chat . Kpop just feels extremely empty without them. Just one sign, one date, one anything official is all it takes for everyone to lose their minds

I can still remember this very day last year when I said I had a feeling 2013 is gonna be Soo's greatest year and BAM! She had a comeback with SNSD, a drama, MC, awards, CFs and even got herself a boy man! While I'm not gonna be making any predictions (well, I made one last year cos of her tirade of solo activities starting off with Double M etc), here's to another awesome year for our favourite shikshin and the rest of SNSD once they get over their hang overs.

Taeyeon was awesome as usual, but that goes without saying Jonghyun was great too but he kind overpowered her a bit but the harmonisation was amazing nonetheless. Cant wait for lives!

Only one way to find out. I personally like these kinds of ballads (and i like the song) but if you're not a fan of slower paced ballads, then it might not be for you. The only criticism I will say is that I personally don’t find it that memorable, most will probably forget about it a while later.

Girls' Generation Announces Comeback Single 'Mr.Mr.,' New Album

 

 

Anticipation is high for the girl group's new visual after winning the YouTube Music Awards' inaugural Video of the Year

Girls' Generation has announced its return to the K-pop scene with a 40-second teaser video for new single "Mr.Mr." that will lead off their fifth Korean full-length album.

 

Filimed on a chilling hospital video set, the nine members are seen in glitzy dresses and pricey jewelry as they wear oxygen masks, hold hands with a male model and check the vital signs of a teddy bear. The black-, white- and pink-themed visual is soundtracked by a crunchy, electronic/hip-hop-hybrid beat with an addictive, repetitive "Mista mista" hook.

 

 

Anticipation is high to see what the group can accomplish after an exciting 2013.

 

The outfit's "I Got a Boy" video earned nearly 85 million YouTube views as well won the group Video of the Year at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards, where it competed against the most watched and shared videos of the year from Justin Bieber, One Direction, Miley Cyrus and more. The new single will also prove whether the act can garner enough U.S. views to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 after the chart added YouTube views to its formula. (The rule was not in place when "I Got a Boy" was released.)

 

According to the clip, the K-pop phenoms will drop "Mr.Mr" in full on Feb. 19 and their new LP -- their fifth full-length Korean album -- will be released on Feb. 24.

 

"I Got a Boy" was the fourth biggest-selling K-pop song in America in 2013. Meanwhile, Girls' Generation still holds the record for the highest-charting K-pop album on the Billboard 200, when splinter trio Girls' Generation - TTS sent its "Twinkle" EP to No. 126 in May 2012.

Seems like ur page much more happening with current updated and fan's respond. dats why i make decision to join u guys and post for d 1st time here... Really...really...can't wait for their MV to come out... the concept really different from before.. even in Run Devil Run we still see the fierce concept but at dat time they seems not mature enough..still have their baby faces... but for this concept.. i really can see dat them become more mature fierce good looking woman...

Odd, there's this video on Youtube that's proving to be quite popular. Apparently its a teaser to some group called Girl's Generation. Get this, they're like Korean or something and they don't even speak English . Now its got like a million views........I know right, I mean people these days are are into the weirdest stuff.
