Er reality is, what you think is cutesy has nothing to do with the decisions of an entire marketing team or of any individual in here.

 

 

And at the end of the day, cutesy to you is just dumb to someone else or just tacky to that person over there or .. a word that doesn't exist in the vocabulary of a different country (you know, people who post here who don't think about these things with a North American privileged self-centrism?)

 

 

 

L&G is fun and I like the song a lot -- some of you know, I'm older than all of SNSD and guess what? Who gives a fuck? Nobody here probably does, right? So yeah, thanks for the lectures on how immature the song is but from where I stand, immaturity is left up to semantics that if worried about, is self-imposed misery, and it's not necessarily about SNSD anyway.

 

It's not like they wear the PV's clothes out .. everyday.

 

 

 

 

So argue numbers if you want to, or proof that an image or concept didn't work, but don't start pulling in the typical male privileged card in fighting for the rights of the images of women who are seemingly not in control of themselves, of their decisions or of their careers.

 

 

Because guess what? Real life? You NEVER make all the decisions.

 

You will ALWAYS be told WHAT to do in the JOB ENVIRONMENT for those of us who aren't in school anymore or might have an idea of what working in a full-time job actually is.

 

But guess what? You AGREE to those restrictions if it means you can HAVE THAT JOB.

 

I don't want to play ageism but I can if the arguments circling are from an age group who think they have an idea of what gender associated terms go with what images in what countries in what minds of the opposite/same gender as dictated by people who have studied, practiced, implemented a high successful marketing campaign for numerous groups in a company ...

 

but damn, if I have to see one more male try to tell me why cutesy is bad for me I'm going to just lose hope all together (sorry dudes, love you but good god, SNSD's scientifically measured amounts of cutesy won't ruin everything ... 1st world problems, seriously).

 

(can we measure cutesy scientifcally according to a standard stereotype? like, down to the amount of lip gloss used instead of lipstick which is more sexually suggestive to the hetero male penis and therefore must be more mature?)

 

 

 

 

 

If you want SNSD to have independence and credit? Why don't you start by giving them the credit they deserve for deciding to be with SMent and to work within the outlines and policies and expectations of their company.

 

Give SNSD credit for reading their contracts, taking the time to understand it, negotiate it, argue over it, be advised on it, AGREE to it and sign the dotted line. Because that's what they did and if you don't think there are outlined restrictions in that contract that can affect multiple different avenues of their career and life? You are probably very very very wrong.

 

They're not stupid and they really don't need knights in shining armor saving them from cutesy doom.

Then SMent FUCKED. UP. and it's THEIR. PROBLEM. whether or not we're emotionally invested as fans, this is a reality of any job that any of us decide to take after we finish school. 

 

And SNSD? They signed the dotted line, they knew the gamble and they took the risk that is the entertainment business. If anything, give them credit for that.

I personally see nothing specially wrong in these gif. So i still can't understand why everyone said that TY publicly show any animosity toward Sica.

If you watch the whole video, none among the 9 girls interact with each other. Still, people only see TY ignoring Sica.

I don't say there isn't anything between them (I can't know as i don't know them in person). I just say that most of this "proofs" are only taken out of context and blow bigger than they actually really are.

So I just can't understand people always accusing TY to not even "act civilly". How is that not "civilly"??

Everytime this topic come out about a certain members being lazy or the group lost their passion, I fell sorry for the girls because they are being judge unfairly. They are human not a machine which you can replace if you are not satisfied with the result. If you really want to see the SNSD from the past then give up to that wish coz it will never happen unless the management will give them less schedule. Try to put your self in their shoes, lack of sleep, tired, exausted from frequent flying and practicing and the so called diet which a result of not so normal meal let see what your body can do. This past week I unintentionally lack of sleep bcoz of work max sleep is 4 hrs straight for 6 days which my work dont required lot of movement with reg meal but I collapsed felt unconcious on the 7 days of work. So saying the girls being lazy is so unfair...

As what the saying says "You will never win a battle to a stubborn person" for them they right in any circumtances...
